I will give first the more bluesy, melodic approach of the TAF with the "original SLO" the chance to convince me.After all I dont like to tweak a lot.But be sure that I really love your profiles. As well your profiles of this "clone".I will have some more "metal-style" projects in my studio in the next months and your profiles will be my first choice.
Soldano SLO 100 - where are the best?

I love Thumas' Soldano Hot Rod 100+ (hes got ones that say "(1)" and "(2)" after them, but those aren't nearly as good).
I've spent a mini butt-load on profiles, but that one is killer. None of that excessive 180hz bump, just even and high gain, but cleans up well. I just use this one profile for all of my shows because I can go from Lynch leads to clean in a turn of the volume knob.

@Siddius - Welcome to the Forum!

Maybe you like our great SOLDARIU HOT ROD 50. One of the best sounding profiles around:

The new one in TAF pack 10 is awesome might be worth checking out

Agreed the TAF amp pack 10 one is really nice ...

I bought a couple of Guidorist's profile packs last night. They blow TAF out of the water. I'm not trying to be inflammatory either, TAF has made me regret every purchase as I have found better free stuff. Guidorist's Brit800 and Soldano Hot Rod are the best profile packages for which I've paid. Every profile was usable. Soundside.de stuff is pretty good too.
I bought the huge ENGL package from TAF and I found something like 2 profiles that I like. Maybe people who like sludgy or drop tuned stuff would like more of them.

This is fine, everyone has there own opinion. Andy has said hes not a metal guitarist so the Engl pack I would say is not his best work, but I find it hard to say that there are better free profiles out there, but hey we are all different......... Different strokes for different folks etc

Lots of great SLO profiles out there (TAF and SinMix). Looks like Top Jimi will be releasing some Soldano SLO profiles really soon (this was posted on their Facebook page yesterday):
