They're the front discs from my Merc CLS and leftover IKEA Ivar offcuts from my rack. They're soooooooooooo heavy.
I am such a cheapskate !

Recently got the HS8s. Absolute overkill I now realize but I can't be bothered sending them back to Thomann for smaller ones, bigger is better right?

Yeah I have the older HS80-Ms in a similar setup. Love them!

HS8 here as well. They sound fantastic, almost like a small PA

Nice. I was tempted to get a set of those (the local music shop had a used pair at a very resonable price) to use with my rig and PC.
That is very impressive and no doubt you've mastered the building and navigation of that rig. I just have to say for me, knowing my limitations, avoiding that beautifully-evil creation is the exact reason I bought the Kemper. That setup would have me one faulty patch cord away from a full blown spastic conniption fit.

Dude.
Broken patch cables are an ever-present danger. I use a patch bay on the back panel for routing so the main connections and their cables stay untouched.

That's the reason I minimize their use.
Definitely not a criticism of your rig, just an expression of how things have changed for me with the Kemper and the nightmares I've experienced with faulty plugs. It's a nice rig!

No worries - i meant it in jest.
Can I post a pic of my Kemper covered in dust? I have not touched my Kemper or Helix since I started writing my own VST
The thing I personally love about the Kemper is making new crazy profiles. But you are still limited to some extent. Where writing a VST, the chains are off and everything is possible.
Some day I may sell my Stage. Will be in pristine shape since it has never been touched by human hands. I installed it on my computer desk, attached a USB cable, and off I went. I am not even sure any of the buttons work. Nah, I would never sell it
Just finished my Kemper board. I used a temple duo 34.
Nice! But where's the computer? Or is that an IPad on top of the Kemper.

it‘s a MacBookPro on top of the Rack
