And on to far more important matters ... When will we see your next pack?!?

So... Next step; profiling sandwiches? Sounds like a winner to me!

Welcome fellow NZGer (Kiwiaxe here)

I would love the KFC as soon as possible if not sooner.
However, a foot controller is absolutely secondary in priority to the Kemper itself. Especially given other excellent functioning controllers (I use a liquidfoot +). Given presumably limited resources at Kemper such that the focus can be on either producing the KFC or making the Kemper even better, surely the latter is the best decision?
at least, I think so.

Ok got it sorted. You have to go one step further than you think. Hit continue in PayPal and it sends you back to the SSP page before charging you - and you then enter the code and get the discount.

Not working for me either, or I'd buy another pack!

I can only say two things.
Chris you are evil. I had no intention of buying more profiles after getting the MBritt pack, which in itself knocked off from my toaster about 90% of the profiles I previously had. But over the last 24 hours I've now made about 6 purchases from you (each one because the previous ones were just so damn good).
And WOW. Really, just WOW. I don't know what you are doing right but goddamnit please don't stop!
PS: If you can get your hands on an early Mesa Boogie Mark IV (with the EVM12L) and were to profile the sample settings in the manual I'd buy that pack in half a heartbeat!

I'm a lawyer but not an intellectual property lawyer. I expect the answer is that:
- you can't claim ownership in a sound;
- you can claim ownership in a "work"
- creating a profile creates a "work" (a collection of 1s and 0s, like software)
- therefore your created profile is likely protected from copying BUT a profile of your profile isn't be cause that is like copying a sound -
Can I please say (in addition to the fact that the profiles do rock!) to those of you using IEMs on one ear in a live rock setting, there are a number of studies out there that say that is extremely bad and far more likely to damage your hearing. Please, from a fellow tone lover, don't do that!

I love the sound of TAF profiles in my bedroom, but I find as soon as I crank them with a band I realise there seems to be a lot of flub (bottom end). I find his cleaner packs - fentastic pack for example - to be better on this front but the gainier packs to me have that wonderful thump for home use but that presents a pain up loud.
I'd love to hear your experience
-
Yes it does and I thought the same, but I'm experiencing the same with my PRS Brent Mason (maple fretboard)

I fear I may have created a monster!
First up I want to note that having bought from both Andy and Armin, their products and communications are excellent.
I haven't been able to do more experimenting due to noise constraints, but I think my main issue seems to be the Marshall Toolkit; other of Andy's profiles I have bought do not seem to be a problem (excerpt for the occasional one with a 'loudness' fx). And I do recall Armin selling me a particular Plexi pack based on it being brighter and more suited to my humbucking guitars.
I'm going to crank it tomorrow to test some more, but it is increasingly looking like it's the Marshall Toolkit that's setting me wrong. Interestingly I pulled up the SLO pack I bought from Andy which I hadn't used recently due to my Marshall focus, and was reminded how much fun it was!
Andy thanks for your offer to contact you by PM. I will do so once I've had the chance to try out some things, especially loud volume, so that I can ask more informed questions. FYI I have the CLRs on the FL setting, on the floor in the non tilt position.

Please don't anyone take this post as a criticism at all of the quality of the TAF profiles! I know they are awesome, I truly do believe I'm screwing something up somewhere - ie: its me, not Andy!
Andy, I'm primarily using your Marshall Toolkit. It sounds SO DAMN GOOD at low (bedroom) volume. I'm generally using a PRS 408 (so single and/or humbuckers). I've tried resetting the Kemper too.

I don't doubt they are excellent. And they "feel" great to play. That's why I want to work out where I've gone wrong!
-
Covered by a sheet is the perfect description for what I'm experiencing. Will this be solved by playing really loud perhaps?
-
Ok, I must be doing something wrong here. So I am looking to you good folks for suggestions.
I have a number of packs from Amp Factory and Soundside and I also have Tills' Chimera pack. But I am finding that the Amp Factory ones seem quite boomy/muddy and lacking the cut through of the Soundside or Tills packs. Is this normal? Am I doing something wrong? Has the latest firmware broken things (note: I haven't edited any of the default pack settings from TAF/Soundside/Tills)?
Running the Kemper through two Atomic powered CLRs, and I know they are set up correctly.
Thanks in advance

You rock, thanks!

Thanks - but what about if I just want to reset the system?
-
Hi all
Searching hasn't helped me here, but I'm sure someone can!
I'm finding sound issues with 2.3. Or at least I think I am. I see some posts suggesting performing a system reset - how do I do that? And if that doesn't sort them out, then how do I downgrade to 2.2?
-
Actually I take it back, I can't seem to replicate it... awaiting other Uno4Kemper user's observations!
