Do you use the aux in (alternate input) on your Kemper?

Hey

I have the toaster and currently going in my audio interface, via my DAW then into monitors.

But this must be adding some form (even if small) of lag/latency.

So I want to go straight from the Kemper into studio monitors, bypassing my PC completely. Just wondering if you guys use the aux in function, or do you just go via your DAW?

Wondering what the Aux In has to do with your question!? This is an input.

To drive your studio monitors you need to use an output. If not used for other purposes you can use the MAIN OUT XLRs. Or you use the MONITOR OUT paired with the DIRECT OUT (Monitor Stereo activated).

Ypou find examples in the manuals including pictures.

Burkhard I read it as the OP wants to connect the monitors to the main outs and feed the signal from the DAW into the Aux In to avoid the latency added by the DAW/Interface.

I can see how it would work but it seem like more effort than its worth. An interface with Direct Monitoring would be the best solution.

Otherwise use a mixer and feed everything in to it. It makes life so much easier...
