They don't. Kemper have already confirmed it
Not even the newer ones? My rack unit's newer than the stage

Don't think so
You called for imagination in this thread before. Imagine if the toaster and rack DO have a wireless module and we didn't know it???
That would be cool.
That would be genius of kemper to have though so much ahead of time....
Am i the only one who tried to find the kemper app in app store? haha
Perhaps on Toaster and Rack you have to connect it to yout WIFI router via LAN cable. Maybe remote can be used with Poe and have to be connected to the same router? Just guessing.
The same clip is now on FB and you can see the whole IPad, don‘t look like there is a cable. I remember that I saw a picture from Kemper where you see one morph button, but i think it wasn’t the stage? Maybe a new device, which is doing the connection?
I found it, is this the stage?

It's a Stage. For sure.

Ok thanks for clarification. Then we just have to wait...

Yeah. Or a tiny wireless USB dongle. I think that's more likely.

And it should be called the Konnektion.

^ Winner winner, chicken dinner.
Bravo.
New video on social media (https://twitter.com/Kemper_Amps/status/1395403989647339520). It's wifi based and it uses a QR-Code to pair the ipad.
If i see correctly the stage profiler in this video is an access point.
Edit: It generates an Access Point with it's own SSID and on the top it says "Access Point Mode". So maybe there is also another mode.
This is exciting!
Gutted the rack and head units don’t have a dongle in them. It would sure free up some USB ports in the studio where we have 3 Kempers connected all the time
Alrighty. British Audio need to offer a WiFi chip mod for toaster and rack owners to go with their ethercon and stereo power mods.
This is pretty frustrating.
They can't release it tomorrow. Who releases a beta on a Friday afternoon? Unless they want to work all weekend.
Looks like Monday at the earliest to me.

The cat 5 connector would certainly suggest that the remote operates on a standard TCP/IP network protocol, but of course they could be using a proprietary protocol instead. If it is just regular TCP/IP then your idea sounds like a reasonable approach.
Does anyone know what protocol the rack / toaster uses to talk to the remote?
I am fine using a moderately priced wi-fi dongle to connect my rack to my ipad wirelessly, but if wireless is only available for stage, Imma straight up lose it!
Well, I mean, realistically, I probably won’t be that mad, just disappointed. Very, very disappointed
