This definitely sounds interesting. What would your projected price point be?

Hi Tom,
is this a stereo amp ? Why do you need the " unbalanced to ballanced converter "?
As I learned earlier - the ICE Power amp expects a balanced input signal when bridged. The monitor out from the KPA is unbalanced.
-
That's exactly the reason, according to Ruefus.
The price of course depends on the quantity.
The pure electronics (ICE Board, balanced Modul, Switch Power Supply and POE Board) costs about 200,- €.
I have to find out, where we can have cables assembled.
The metal plate varies between 30 - 50,- €, depending on whether it should be painted, etc.

What’s the POE board needed for? For a power amp?
EDIT: NVM, saw my answer below. Not required, but nice to have.

Is there an interest in a "Kemper-Community Amp"?
I have a prototype, similar to the Camplifier. It is based on the icepower 250asx2 including unbalanced to ballanced converter and POE interface. With the integrated of an etherCON jack from Neutrik you can additionally protect the RJ45 jack on the Kemper. The whole thing is on a plate for the installation in the KPA Head.
I could also make a stomp format version for the Kemper Stage.
Interested. Is it in design phase, or something working? I think I will need something quite quickly...

If you are thinking of installing the amp in the Kab then another option is the Matrix GM50 plate amp, I've used one for many years and it works great. Just FYI...

Exactly same as Carvin but cheaper https://m.thomannmusic.com/harley_benton_…_thunder_99.htm
Reviews mention getting shocked. I like my stereo Camplifier

Which Camplifier do you use?

I have the S2.

Cool, I'll check it out.

Consiglio vivamente il Seymour Duncan Powerstage 170.
+1

Duncan PowerStage 700 is stereo and has 3 way tone controls to tweak the match to your cab(s). Only one volume control for the two channels so if you are going stereo, this suits matched cabinets. Each channel is an ICE power amp board comparable to the Kemper Powerhead amplifier. No power brick - just an IEC plug for connection to 120-240 volts anywhere in the world. This unit could suit players who need stereo and flexibility on input power. If you want to drive bass cabinets this could be the ticket also. It is pretty transparent and has masses of clean headroom which can be useful even if you are never going to use anything like 2x700 watts.
The Powerstage 170 lacks this voltage flexibility - you need to buy 110 or 240 volt according to your region. (BTW Seymour Duncan have a new Powerstage 200 which is a variant of the 170 it seems).

I have a non-powered Kemper and i`m strongly interested getting the icepower 250asx2 including unbalanced to ballanced converter and POE interface. Following the thread I think I understood most of technical discussion though being a newbe in this section. But what is POE (EDGAR ALLAN?) Interface?

Power Over Ethernet.
Only needed if you want a ‘protection’ jack for the remote plug. -

I'd be interested in this too. I will need some kind of power amp...

Found by chance
What a price for a module that costs $130 new. Dirt cheap shipping!!! ?

Can somebody say if this would be a matching Amplifier for the upcoming Kemper Kone?

Yes, it is the ICEPOWER ICE125ASX2 with DSP, but you do not need the DSP.
