Is it possible to sort profiles in RM first by name and then by gain?
(I mean without artificially creating separate folders for similarly named profiles)

Try clicking on the columns in that order. Used to work.
Nikolaj
Doesn't work for me on Version 3.0.78 (15557). I'll ask support about it.
That something I continually wish I could do. The lack of multiple sort levels drives me mad.
it’s never worked for me on Mac.
musicmad are you on windows.
Wheresthedug yes I'm on Windows and it still works in latest beta. It's great
Lucky you
I've just double checked on the latest Mac Beta just incase I was speaking out of turn but I definitely doesn't work on Mac (and as far as I can remember never has done). I can sort by Name BUT as soon as I click Gain column to further sort I lose all the by name sorting and only get the gain results.
Just to make sure we are talking about the same thing. I can get a view like this after clicking Gain, then amp name:
Perhaps the database structure supports sorting by multiple fields if the fields are selected in "left to right" order.
that’s what I’m starting to think now that I have seen how it’s working for Nikolaj.
Thank you! That is good enough.
From my experience order in which columns appear on screen doesn't matter - what seems to matter is that gain needs to be clicked first, and only them secondary sort column (any).
thanks
This does not work for me on a Mac and I sure wish it would. Basically I'd like a way to establish a secondary sort by sorting first by Gain (which groups items by 10-1) and then by name, preserving the Gain grouping.
Also, side question: is there a way to apply a sort in Rig Manager to the profiles on the profiler?
Thanks!
