As far as i'm aware there is no metadata that shows this (on the kemper + rig manager at least). Would be nice for us powerhead owners to have!
Easier way of seeing whether or not a profile is Studio, Merged or Direct

It seems like this is not possible for pre-existing profiles, as many times as it's been brought up, it sure would be nice for this to be required metadata for making profiles going forward.

I wonder if there is something in the deeper coding of the profile that shows whether it was created by merging? Something which isn’t visible as metadata but which Kemper’s analytics can identify. If this was the case than a bulk conversion could be run as part of a FW update at some point. Maybe I’m a dreamer but I’m not the only one

I obviously have no idea of the details involved, but unless I'm missing something that does seem pretty plausible...really good idea!

I'm full of ideas that are "good" in my mind. The problem is they are seldom so great in the real world

Yep. I am sorely missing that.
The same goes for cabinets, it would be important to know whether they have been created by merging (hence being more neutral across the rigs).

Some issues/bugs only apply to studio profiles, so yes there should be a way to distinguish between merged and studio. They are not technically identical.
