So about $1500 US.. A couple hundred cheaper than the standard profiler. Will be interesting how this plays out with those with the standard profiler. I am keeping my powered one and seeing how I can integrate this with it.

Kemper (i.e. CK) seems to be in tune the with TOURING musician types, not the average bar band warriors. For a touring musician, the rack/toaster + remote combo is perfect.
I think this is why they took so long to see the need for a floorboard.
There is a way higher chance for a bar band to have beer or other beverages spilled on the unit, or it's enough to step into some liquid unnoticed to mess it up pretty bad. I guess aftermarket U bars or plexi protectors will be coming quite soon,

IF IT'S $1500 I"ll order it tomorrow

ill order it today

That "someone" is a bit of a spoofer on the facebook page in fairness. Take everything with a extreme pinch of salt.

They're arguably the market leader, so they should be able to attract a premium price.
-
So back to my original post....They wouldn't make something that would make the existing Head and remote defunct would they?

Making it cheaper than the existing products makes no sense in several ways. Not the least of which is a $700 price difference between the floor and Rack/Toaster + Remote.
I for one will be all kinds of pissed if that number is anywhere near true.
I truly don’t believe that number.

Aren't they only ones in the race?

Aren't they only ones in the race?
That's what IBM thought in the 80's. ?

To the market, no. Which means they really aren’t.

Seems that there is no Ethernet for a second remote. I am wondering why this feature is missing, if it's true and the integration is not implemented different.

Why would they add a second remote? It’s got all the same functions built in.

If this is true. I’ll definitely give them my money

Because including multiple remotes is already implemented. For bigger stages this is a nice feature, just add a second one on the other stage side.
The unit looks awesome, I'm only wondering if there is a different approach.

Im really happy for those who wanted a floor unit and this seems to have been turned around pretty quickly.
I'm curious to see what it offers, if its essentailly the same then no real benefit for me personally. I do ( and I requested) like the idea if it can operate as a remote and standalone as I like my powered rack to drive a cab.
Just hope they haven't rushed it and missed opportunities like App control etc. I'd have loved to have seen a rechargable one to dispense with the power lead.
Good stuff!

That was exactly my point. Kemper doesn't hang with the bar band crowd.

Bring it on - let's see what it does....
