I remember last time using reverb sometime in 90's ;), so not in a rush.
And I use reverb all the time, as it's that time frame I grew up in (as much the same for you I thinking).

Strymon just announced this beauty:

It isn’t a reverb, though...? It’s a delay, and comparable results can already be achieved in the Kemper, with a little tweaking.

It does have decent spring reverb but yes, it's more of a delay!
They should have called it the Strymon Violator.
LOL - Volante translates to "Steering Wheel".
Jesus take the Volante!

It is more of a Delay than it is a Reverb, sure. But the main point was that this new product from Strymon is making me want the new Kemper Reverbs more than ever.
Play with the Delays in your KPA, and save all that Volante money for a cheap guitar. Or, some expensive pickups.

I think you guys are inferring things that I didn’t say, and totally missing the point. I literally meant what I said, that seeing that new product from Strymon made me really want the new Kemper Reverbs. Not that I ever stop wanting them, but I kinda had put them in the back of my mind until I saw this new product.
Yes, I get that it’s not a Reverb pedal per say. And NO, I’m not buying it.
Hope the clears it up :-).
My comment wasn’t directed at anyone in particular - I’ve seen a lot of buzz about this product, and most of the demo sounds seem to me like it would be easy to get very close with the KPA delays.
I'm not buying any more pedals and other guitar fluff, I know there will be a K2 soon, so I am saving all my GAS money for it.

Well, given that I was the one who posted about the Strymon Volante in this thread, your comment was definitely directed at me (even if you argue that it wasn’t). I mean, come on :-).
Anyway, I’m happy with what the Kemper offers right now and I know that it can do pretty much everything I could want it to do. The new Reverbs are just a want (not a need).

Wait! You KNOW there will be a Kemper 2 soon? Or is this what you think?

It's what Nemo thinks.
“Someone” on this forum wrote earlier, that they ‘knew’ there would absolutely never be a Kemper 2.
But when I asked for their source, they never responded... I don’t think any of us know what the future is in regards to Kemper hardware.
Hmm... so someone knows there is going to be a KPA2, and soon, and someone else knows there's never gonna be one.
Talk about polar-opposite truths.
I'm sure there will be a Kemper 2 in the future but i may be wrong.
I feel it coming very soon (May be wrong even more !!)
From my point of view, (knowing nothing about Kemper from the inside, kemper yearnings, kemper business etc) the actual Kemper can still like that with some updates (editor, overdrive, synths etc) for 2-3 years at least. (I don't want a Kemper 2 at the moment).
Something I don't except and don't want is dual profile, that is useless for me cause i know i won't use that in live or recording but a lot of guys seems to want that and I think (not sure) that needs a hardware update.
If NAMM 2019 would come sooner, we could settle all of this and close the thread.
Zzzzzzz...
I wonder if the kemper team are having bets about peoples speculations. At least they must be amused.

I think you’re referring to me, though you’re over exaggerating my response. You said that you had a feeling the Kemper 2 would be released in the next year and I replied, “not gonna happen”. My reasoning I posted a page or two back.
