I really miss a needle tuner on the KPA and the Remote
Live when you have 5 sec to tune the guitar between songs for me the bubble tuner is hard to see if you are in tune.
Strobe tuners just confuse me in a live setting.
i used to have a Rjm Masterrmind GT with my Kemper, and the needle tuner on that is just perfect with a clear indication that you are in tune.
The bubble tuner on the Remote do not have large/clear comfirmation that you are in tune, just small letters with - and + cent.
It would be nice if a future update will include soft buttons that you can choose, Bubble, Strobe or Neddle tuner.

You can use the three tuning LEDs to guide you more easily - have you tried this?
-
Strobe tuners are more accurate to read but I do agree, a needle tuner 'option' would be a VERY handy tool and I would use the needle in certain situations myself.
-
Yes I have tried the three tuning LEDs Michael_DK, but I find it hard to fine tune, because its hard to see if the Greens LEDs are off or just a little bit of light in them.
It would have been better if the green LEDS are on full for out of tune, and that just the white LED on was on when you are in perfect tune. -

I like this suggestion. Makes sense from a design thinking perspective.

I never understood Peterson style tuners for guitar. My intonation has never been that close and simple Boss pedal tuners is more than accurate enough. I would welcome a more guitar friendly tuner for Kemper.

yep, me too

With my poor eyesight, this would be a Godsend.
I tend to use the front-panel lights 'cause even 'though they're less-accurate to read than a VU-style needle would be, they're still way easier to see (than the regular display options) when everything's blurry 'cause you're relying on colour. The needle, as long as it's reasonably-thick-and-dark, will be easy to read 'cause no matter how fuzzy it appears to be, it's easy to tell if it's vertical (perfectly-in-tune) or not.
So... +1.

Bubble works fine, and follow @Sharry advise and roll off the tone control to kill the treble. It responds better.

And don't forget to lower the volume knob too. I understand that for those who use the kemper live a needle is a must for quickest possible tuning. We'll see if that will happen eventually. With the strobe choice the bubble seems a bit unnecessary if you ask me.

I've fired cats for using needles. Get a good guitar for sure.

I think the bubble definitely has its place, GJ.
It's a useful indicator of "distance" from being in tune IMHO, much as a needle would be, whereas the strobe requires that you translate "speed" to distance.

The two tuner modes are the only Kemper feature that frustrate me. I ended up getting a Snark clip on and wish that kind of tuner display was available onboard.
-
I can;t get on with strobe tuners, give me a headache.
I like the bubble but would use a needle as well, so +1 for a needle :0

I never look at the - or + cents, but I'd be happy with a needle
