Didn't buy much music related stuff this year but the Official Celestion speaker impulse packs I bought have been great! (Greenback & V30 4x12)

PRS Holcomb.

A used SPL Crimson sound card. Lighter string gauge here too. 10-46 Well except the low e string for drop d tuning. 11-49 instead of 10-52 for d standard on another guitar. I might buy a used guitar within a few days for a good price.

PRS Holcomb.
On my wishlist! Someone on YT had one complaint and that was the nut. Can you comfirm it? Or maybe he just had bad luck?

Nut is OK, I'll likely replace the nut with graphtec or something similar just to have 100% stability (and it costs next to nothing to do it), but I didn't notice any unusual instability about it, it will go out of tune a couple of cents if you bend a lot for a hour, but it's much better than your average Les Paul Custom Shop ;). It's a great sounding guitar, pretty versatile too, pickups are voiced for low tuning though. I am looking to buy US made one. If you are in the UK, 2018 version has different paint (satin grey)
BTW string gauge. I've installed 9.5-44 on one of my PRS Custom 24s (instead of normal 10-46) just to see how it goes and I don't really like them, they feel too thin, bending is effortless though - I'll keep them for a week, but looks like I'll be back to 10s. I use 9-42 on my 25.5." guitars

Interesting thread, here's my 2ct:
Definitely my 2 Pacificas (311 & 611). They sing and scream right out the box for an incredible price. I'm going to get me a third one with a trem.
And these monitors (together with the matching sub ) have been a huge step for my recording sound:

My new Kemper of course!, and at the beginning of 2017 I bought the Amplifi TT, it’s a very easy to use modeler with an iPad for example, very funny to make a fool and play with the home HiFi.
But one thing to highlight in this 2017, would be a gift that I received. A lot of 2 Harley Benton guitars, exactly, were the TE-52 and the ST-62 VW. I could consider them almost toy, but to my surprise, they are very fun to play, they have a nice feeling, after a bit of work, as if it were a DIY, I polished their frets, installed shield to prevent noise and the truth is that they sound surprisingly good! Recommendable, If someone gives it to you as a gift, even better!.

Mimiq by TC. The perfect pedal for the Kemper
-
Without a shadow of doubt, the Digitech Freqout. The best pedal I have bought, this year or ever. Looks like a couple of other people have gone with the Freqout too. Also, a big shout-out to my new Boss Katana amps. a 100watt 212, and a 100watt head. Amazing amps for the money

I bought a Kemper in May, so, the Kemper. : ) Still amazed by it on a daily basis.
Not sure what 2018 will find.

KPA & Remote + XiTone MBritt cab..
Been an expensive year but heck it's been worth it!
Oh and I'm pretty happy about my Line 6 G10 wireless unit. The joy of being cable free!

I just got my first pedal of 2018: a Strymon Deco. It'll be replacing the Mimiq in my setup. It costs twice as much, but the ability to tailor both delay time as well as modulation is invaluable. Also, the tape saturation is quite nice.

I got me a Diamond Guitars Imperial Semi Hollow - cheap, but so much fun...

I picked up a new 8u flight case for the power rack and kitted it out with some LED's etc, but I got a Line 6 G75 and a Focusrite 6i6 which are both pretty cool.

Last year, it was the Music Man John Petrucci Signature Majesty in Copper Fire.

Just a beautiful instrument and a joy to play. My first guitar above the $600 range. For some reason, the "you get what you pay for" saying applies to music equipment more than almost anywhere else.
My first major splurge for 2018, arriving Monday, is the Line 6 HX Effects, which I'm pairing with the Kemper.
