Thomann is not selling DRX10 anymore
https://www.thomann.de/fr/yamaha_dxr_10.htm
Anyone knows if there will be a replacement ?
DXR10 seems to be no more

Other stores are available.
-
It has other sizes. Maybe 10s currently out of stock.
-
The thing is, it's following a rather big universal price drop.
So either Thomann is destocking Yamaha, or there will be a replacement coming. -

the price went up 150-190 euros the last month in sweden:(

Hm... same thing apparently happened to the Yamaha HS7...? https://www.thomann.de/de/yamaha_hs_7.htm

There are enough other stores that still have the DXR10 in stock, for the same price as Thomann.
Took me less than a minute to find it -

Anyone knows if there will be a replacement ?Sure, you asked if there might be a replacement - in reference to the availability in a store xyz.
I just mentioned other reference stores.Yesterday milk was out of stock at my favorite supermarket. Will there be a replacement for milk?
-
At Thomann it's not typical to remove a product from their catalog just because it's currently out of stock. So the OP's question is very valid. The fact that other stores still have some on stock doesn't answer his question and concern.
I tried to figure out what's going on to no avail yet. Will post as soon as I get some info, of course.

I just mentioned other reference stores. And what's your explanation for the -25% in price (in every online store), one month before disapearing from Thomann ?
-
Did anyone in Europe call Thomann, and ask?
-
And what's your explanation for the -25% in price (in every online store), one month before disapearing from Thomann ?
I have no clue about the reason for the dropping price.
Also I have no clue if this is true, but it is said that the reason for this might lie far in the past. In @luntho 's post one could read a little hint between then lines...
Once Hans Thomann, founder of the Thomann company, visited Ikea and had some of his beloved Köttbullar. Unfortunately they were spoiled, so he had an indigestion for several days and never forgot about this shocking experience. Many years later (in the middle of 2017) this came back to his mind again and now he felt this was the right time for revenge.
As it is said he has some good friends in Sweden and like him they are very well positioned in the market for musical equipment. I sounds a bit like a conspiracy, but it seems that together with his Swedish friends he managed to rise the DXR10's price for the whole Swedish market... payback time!
As he is absolutely a really nice guy his intention for this is not to enrich himself. So he decided to drop the price at the same time in many other European countries.
It's clear to see, that customers in these countries couldn't resist... that's why they are sold out at the moment. As said before: I have no clue if this is true, but it might be an explanation.

Ok, here's what I found out about this topic:
There's some "issues" with Yamaha that seems to have lead Thomann (and others) to put their products on "stock clearance".
It hasn't been disclosed what exactly the "issues" are but it seems to be fact that for the time being, Thomann (and maybe others as well) clear their entire Yamaha stock. This also includes other Yamaha products like the studio speakers or even keybord/synths.So if you're planning to buy Yamaha products, hurry up as long as you can get them at the current low prices.
PS:
Thomann in the past had "issues" with other brands as well, for example with Gibson who allegedly had asked for super restrictive (and unacceptable) conditions from distributors. Thomann sat it out for about a year until Gibson came to their minds. Might be a similar "issue" here. -
Thank you for taking the time to investigate this !

This has been my experience in the past as well, but it seems they may have changed their procedure or they may not be as consistent with this behaviour as we tend to think.
Because I nterestingly, the Line 6 Helix was also removed from the catalog and internal search engine a week or two ago.
As of today it's listed again (to be available 19.9.17).
https://www.thomann.de/de/line6_helix…+Helix_366537_5Frankly speaking, I wonder about these 'issues' you mentioned, because the DXR 8 and 12 are readily available.
Care to share where you got the information from?My personal thesis is that their webmaster is confused in a few cases and gets the listing wrong. Otherwise their online shop is stellar.

As you probably know, Line6 is owned by Yamaha.
The Pacifica and revstar are gone too. -

Care to share where you got the information from? They might still have a few of these models on stock, simple as that. Yamaha Montage keyboards are gone as well, as are quite a few more products.
My info is directly from a Thomann representative.PS: Look at the links you posted, pretty much all listed products have a significant price reduction. The fact that e.g. the Helix is announced to be available later this month might be just because they had already placed a fixed order before the "issues" came up. We'll never know. But I trust the person I talked to.
