I've been a massive fan of Fields of the Nephilim since I first heard Dawnrazor when it came out.
I was completely blown away today when their guitarist, Gav King, messaged me, telling me he is using my TMS JCM800 pack for his live sound.
"Killer tone" he said.
I'm actually going to see them in London in December so it will be surreal to hear the JCM800 profiled in my studio on the songs.
I'm with Gav here. Mick's JCM800 set is a phenomenal pack - the tones with the greenbacks in the 425B are fantastic and well worth the 8 euro on their own and then there's the directs outs - and jeez - there are 7 more cabs for days that end in Y.
What is not to like.
Gonna grab the jcm and 30th anniv. when both are available. Gathering marshalls from all the vendors is a fine sport in itself.

Jubilee is already there:

Thanks guys.
Been crazy busy.
In the middle of 2 albums and also doing the audio for a film.
Still working on the f50 update then the Marshall 30th is up next.
Using the jcm800 to Marshall cab mxr boosted profile for an EP and it's so good.
Recording the new EP for Stone Sea using TMS Profiles JCM800 for rhythm and Marshall SL5 profiles for lead \m/
I tested out the Triple Rectos you posted, and the only thing I don't like is that there appears to a noise gate in block A of all patches but one cranked up to 6.6. In addition to this, the regular noise gate knob is up to 7.7. Turning off block A and turning down the knob makes all of them sound great.

Yes, i have noticed that too, but i dont care for it because when i load a profile where some stomps are in in ensble them to hear the pure smp sound first.
Yes. Gate is too extreme.
I set up the gate when testing the high gain ts boosted profile then made the rest of the profiles with the same gate settings.
Easy to turn off =]
Mesa F50 pack back for sale.
After lots of testing, the profiles are how the amp sounds.
I wanted it to do modern metal too but it just isn't the right amp for that job.
Sounds great for clean, crunch and mid gain drive so I guess it is what it is =]
Working on the Marshall 30th Anniversary pack.
I LOVE this amp.
Try this test profile.
This is channel 2B gain just over half way for an awesome heavy crunch sound dripping in overtones.
Miked with a mix of SM57 and vintage Shure 545 mics to Neve mic pres.

Thank you, Mick.
Ok.
Been offered a direct swap if my mesa f50 for a Marshall bluesbreaker combo.
Since the bluesbreaker is essentially a jtm head in combo form with an added tremolo I think I could get a great pack done with it from nice cleans through Clapton blues crunch to Malcolm young sound.
What do you guys think?
I'm finished with the f50 so I think it's a very good trade. I will be able to sell the bluesbreaker easily if I decide to move it on after I profile it.
Isn't the Bluesbreaker a good bit more expensive?
Nowadays it isn't sadly

The Bluesbreaker turned out to be a half working over gigged heap of junk. #Bluesbroken
But I bought an ENGL Fireball for a great price.
I had one of these before and loved it, then traded up to a Powerball which was muddy rubbish.
Always missed the Fireball and this one came up at a price I couldn't turn down.
Full pack coming soon =]
Did a quick reamp test into Marshall 2x12 using a track by a band I work with in the studio.
Sounds awesome.
Looking forward to getting it profiled through all my cabs.
(Still working on the Marshall 6100 pack and am in the middle of 2 albums and have full film mix to do)
Not real familiar with that amp, but it sounds brutal in the clip! I like it!
Testing some ENGL Fireball profiles.
This amp has a stupid amount of gain .
Here is gain at 10 o'clock, no boost to Rectifier cab.

Thank you for the ENGL Fireball, Mick.
Can't seem to download it for some reason.
