I'm home from holiday and back to work =]
Using mix of SM57 and vintage Shure 545 on Triple Rectifier for the pack.
This mic mix is really killing the fizz.
Try this test profile. The least fizzy recto profile you will have ever heard \m/

A very good rectifier profile, Mick. Thanks a lot. Perhaps it's a tad dark with a LP, but hardly any fizz at all, and that is great. (I like it, though Rectifiers aren't my thing!)

Hi!
have you redone the f50 already?
Cheers -
Working on it

Got a killer sound for a guitar tracking session this evening. Grungy stoner rock band.
Used Marshall 30th Anniversary 6100 head into Blackstar Series One cab. SM57 and vintage Shure 545S.
Big and fat with loads of mids and great chord definition.
Try it out.

That Mesa Triple Rec teaser is lovely! Great bluesy vibes going on with it, once the gate in the stomps is turned down - it's at 6.6 or so and that kills the dynamics.
Again great profile!

Hi guys,
i am really happy that i could test some profiles from the upcoming recty pack in front of release.
I must say that something big is on the way. Right out of the box with mick's fantastic eq in slot X and a treble boost in slot C.
No tweak !!!! Thats one of the most important things for me.
Here is a quick jam with a fantastic profile, cant wait to get the pack. Hope you like it.External Content soundcloud.comContent embedded from external sources will not be displayed without your consent.Through the activation of external content, you agree that personal data may be transferred to third party platforms. That's amazing.
Thanks so much for taking the time to do this killer demo.
As I said above, Channel 2 Vintage mode is amazing.
No hint of congestion or the infamous "cocked wah" sound.
I can actually hear that you are feeling the dynamic response when playing, if that makes sense.
Pack should be finished and on sale tonight if I can stay awake =] -
That the freqout pedal goin on there Frank?
Nice playing dude! -

Wow - what a crazy clip
concrate
I hope this rigs supports also my playing -
Here's a play through a couple of the profiles from the pack. The backing track is from Jam Track Central and it's only the 'lead' guitar that's using the profiles. No post EQ etc so you can hear how well it sits in the mix without tweaks. I played some less full on stuff here and the Trip Rec profiles are very dynamic and NOT just for heavy rock / metal. Some great cleans and breakup tones in here.
Guitar used: Tele with Bare knuckle single coil pups
Interface: Motu 4 pre via SPDIF
DAW: Pro Logic XExternal Content www.youtube.comContent embedded from external sources will not be displayed without your consent.Through the activation of external content, you agree that personal data may be transferred to third party platforms. Thanks so much for taking the time to do this.
I love the Zilla Creambacks here. Suits the style so well. -
I've been a massive fan of Fields of the Nephilim since I first heard Dawnrazor when it came out.
I was completely blown away today when their guitarist, Gav King, messaged me, telling me he is using my TMS JCM800 pack for his live sound.
"Killer tone" he said.
I'm actually going to see them in London in December so it will be surreal to hear the JCM800 profiled in my studio on the songs. -
