Does anybody know why you can't buy this from the US Kemper store? I'd like to buy two of them to replace my two BOSS FS-6 footswitches.
Why would you want to do that? Only because of the design?

One thing about the FS-6 that's a bit of a pain is that you need a battery for each one.

This.
It has already happened several times that I have forgotten to unplug the cable and ended up with a dead battery.

Yes. Also, see my other comment.

Batteries in pedals always become a pain at one time or another!

As far I remember without batteries they are still working. Just the LED's are not working. - Isn't it?

That's correct. The same goes for the FS-7.
Well my FS-6 definitely doesn't work without a battery.
I believe the switching takes place electronically....
I think the FS-7 does, but the 6 does not.

Ok, I'll step back. I can only speak for the FS-7.
It's interesting that Kemper comes out with this. Honestly I would have expected the next piece of hardware to be a standalone expression pedal, because you know, it's something you can sell to both people with a remote to extend it as well as to those without who want a minimalist rig. So this is definitely out from the left field.

This footswitch can also be used to expand the Remote.

True, but the Remote already comes with 14 switches and no expression pedal.

Looks like Kemper's expression pedal of choice is the Mission Engineering EP1-KP which they are selling in the Kemper online store - I have one of these, it is a perfect match.
So can you guys confirm that the Boss FS-7 will in fact work with the Kemper? I am switching from rig to rig in performance mode with my Boss SY300 but it will not allow effect control with the extra onboard switch. I want to be able to toggle delay/boost/and or fx loop on and off via external footswitch without having to invest in the remote. For now at least

Boss FS-7 here. Works.
Out of curiosity; what are the 2 button footswitch requirements? Momentary switches with TRS cable?

Yep non-latching - otherwise you need to press it twice; TRS for dual switches. You can use TS, but that only gets you one switch per input.

Awesome. Thank you!
Ive built a custom switch that has one taller momentary switch in the rear of the box and two shorter momentary switches left and right. my remote is mounted to a thin piece of black painted wood along with two expression pedals on the left and right of remote. This custom switch box sits behind the remote and is connected via a ts jack on one side for the looper switch and the other are looper rec and stop buttons. This frees the tuner and looper button for hold and freeze functions >>>
Looks like they are now available on the US store: https://shop.kempermusic.us/profiler-switch-2-way.html
