Hi. Just about to pull the trigger on a Kemper from Andertons. They offer half off on this bundle(40 GBP). Good deal?
I like Hard Rock, 80's and some Metal and other stuff too. Not sure if I should wait and check out the factory profiles and later pick and choose other one's or go for this bundle . What do you think?
Thanks guys.

The Amp Factory profiles are all very good, some excellent. For me, TAF pack 9 and 10 are the absolute peak of what Andy has achieved with his different profiling methods and are amongst the very best profiles out there.
-
Although TAF profiles are VERY highly regarded, I'd say they are usually not the first go-to for those kinds of genres. Regardless, I'd say try the factory profiles first - and there are also "rig packs" from the kemper website from TAF among many others. Get a feel for what each profile seller offers and if their tastes matches yours - and then go nuts if you still need more
-
Besides the above: I like the Captain!

Yes, it's excellent deal. I took it when I got my profiler 3 years ago, I had enough profiles to play for a year.
Factory profiles are really good too - don't ignore them, they aren't like presets in modelers and multi-FX. -
That's a great deal and exactly what I got when I purchased my first KPA. What I did was email Andy at TAF as I preferred the look of Pack 2 and asked if I could use the code for that a he said yes, so all was good infact even better

Welcome @-XIII- and go for it.

Check the price on the Kemper at Gak - was much cheaper recently when I checked. Then buy the really great profiles you want (M Britt seems to get the most love).
Mine's arriving tomorrow...<anticipation>

Thanks for all the replies guys. I think I'll go for the bundle, hopefully I can exchange it for bundle #2 .
"rockbadger", thanks for the tip but I think "GAK" only ships within Europe. (They do have a good price on the white "toaster" though).
I'm in Japan and Anderton's seems to be the only option to send here. I don't have to pay VAT and the price is REALLY good compared to Japan.
Hopefully the import charges won't kill the deal. -
Welcome, -XIII-!
You're living where I've always wanted to live.

Thanks Monkey_Man. Come visit. I'm in Osaka, actually not far from Kyoto [Blocked Image: https://www.kemper-amps.com/forum/wcf/images/smilies/smile.png]

Don't tease me brother!
I dream every day of living there; I love practically everything about Japan, but why would immigration accept an unemployed, chronically-ill songwriter / singer / multi-instrumentalist audio engineer? I'm only good for working on my own 'cause travel's very demanding on me.
If it were as easy as asking and receiving a "yes", I'd be so excited I'd probably try to swim there (from Australia!).
Thank you for the very-kind offer, mate. I haven't been on holiday in 25 years, but I guarantee you that the next one I'm able to go on, I'll be off like a shot to Japan and won't wanna come home. Oh, and I'll be knocking on your door too! LOL

Welcome to the family you are gonna love the Kemper

Thanks man, it's on the way!
