Hey, I tested them quickly and they are very very good. I tend to prefer the first you posted.
Good job !!
they have the flavour of Petrucci in Falling into Infinity album

I also prefer the first set you provided. Especially the "Quad L2 SM57&E906 V1" profile. Thanks again!
I like what I'm hearing will definitely check these out
Cheers guys. Now that I think about it, I prefer the first set of profiles also. I have a rectifier, Soldano X88r preamp, and modded Marshall JMP still to profile so will keep you updated!
Hey MCVA444,
why not making direct profiles from the slave output ? The Quad sounds amazing through it.
Hey,
yes i I noticed that Thumas did that and got fantastic results, however there is not slave out for my power amp. The quad has a line level out, but that is a preamp so I'd be missing out on the interaction between the pre and power. Are there any profiles that are designed to work with preamp profiles?
I'm using my Mesa 2:100 power and Mesa 295.
Hi all,
a little late to the party. Depends on holiday.
Many thx for the profiles. My fav is also the quad L" SM57&E906 V1 but with another cab and some EQ tweaking
I used the free mesa oversize cab from deadlight studios (one of the best cabs i ve ever heard), and here are my main eq tweaks for it:
bass: +0,7 middle -1,6 treble -0,5 presence -1,7
Check this out. Very fat.....
Cheers
Frank
I agree with Frank, The Deadlight is a very good cab !!
Hey guys,
My DI box arrived, so I've uploaded two new merged profiles, with a new mic position and Quad settings. Just used an SM57 for this one. Try them with my cab, but they also sound great(maybe better) with the deadlight and djemass cabinets!
This is clip using my LD 2 profile with deadlight Mesa OS cabinet. I backed off both the treble and presence by 0.5 dB
Thank you!
Thank you!
So you're the fella who shares my name!
Dang. I got the shock of my life the other day when I loaded the RE page and there it was - my name virtually filling the first page! I panicked, thinking I must've accidentally uploaded a bunch of profiles somehow (I haven't even made any!).
Then I thought I'd start a thread to share the "funny" experience, but figured it'd just be closed for being OT.
What're the odds, Nik, especially with a name such as ours, that we'd both be Kemper owners?
Amazing, and thank you once again for sharing, Twin Bro'.

hehe well, I was not aware of this, thanks for pointing it out. Sorry for the confusion! Maybe I'll change it to 'Salokin Flow (the name backwards :)) from now on.
True the odds may be small, but given that the Kemper is so awesome it's probably not that surprising!
Cheers guys, and thanks for the positive feedback. Definitely encourages me to work on my tone and upload some mo'. I've recently created some merged profiles of my Soldano X88R preamp, and the crunch tone is to die for! Will upload when I'm back from holiday
Oh yeah! That'll be way cool; thank you Nik!
Reading what you wrote backwards, I'll be danged if we're not both Nickel-asses too.
Seriously dude, in 50 years I've not met anyone with my name, and now you? On the Kemper forum? The odds are practically mind-blowing.
Speaking of odds, I'll bet we're both in love with the same woman too - Ms Kemper. Now that takes the improbability way off the charts. Do they make a number big enough to express those odds? If they don't, someone should invent one.
Okay no worries. Yes I'm still in the early stages of the love affair, the bit where everything is new and exciting Still learning about the cool features, and looking forward to the new delays and reverbs coming out(eventually).
Hey man, even when that initial stage is over, you may find that whilst the excitement of something new might eventually end, your appreciation of the beastie will continue to grow.
Seriously, some folks love their Kempers more every day. I'm one of them.
Dang. Sounds like a perfect relationship.
Is there still any way to get these profiles ? Thanks.
Does anyone still have this profile to share?

I'm pretty sure they are all on RE. Just do a search by Author for "Nik Wolf". Alternatively, you can find them searching all tags for "Quad".
