Oh man, how did i miss this. Your profiles are definitely among my favorite. They're up there with the best of commercial profiles. Thank you very much for uploading them.
Speedster, Jet City, Marshall and an old AC15.

Allot of us were having this problem a few weeks ago. Make sure you have the latest rig manager.
Thank you, crhfish.I've not updated from 1.5.16 yet and am on FW 3.1.4, 'cause I'm waiting for the full release of v4. I'll update RM now if there's a legitimate reason why some Rigs aren't showing up, but if you're referring to the thread that a few weeks ago revealed that Kemperites all over the world had differing total numbers in RM, I thought the consensus was that the cause was somehow regionally-based.
Thoughts?
-
Well, if it has anything to do with which version I'm running, it's a moot point. I was about to download it just for the heck of it anyway, when I saw this:
*** This version of Rig Manager requires Profiler OS 3.3 or higher ***
Game over for that approach.Hopefully there's another cause. I'm about to try deleting those folders I referred to earlier...
-
OK, I figured trashing those folders would be overkill, so I located the Rig Exchange database files; they're in the User/Library/Application Support/Kemper Amps/RigManager folder on the Mac, for those who might be interested. These are the ones that define the user's database:
RigExchange.db
RigExchange.xml
RigExchangePriv.xmlThe RigExchange.db file is surely the most important here; it's the actual Rig data.
The RigExchange.xml file most likely provides the app the ability to quicky reference the metadata (names etc.) for display and sorting purposes, much as iTunes does with its "iTunes Music Library.xml" file.
The RigExchangePriv.xml one, I'm guessing, defines which of one's own Rigs one has uploaded for one's personal use.
The fact that the app is currently downloading 1269 Rigs makes me feel confident that the issue is solved.
The simplest way of putting this, IMHO, is that RM didn't know what it didn't have, 'cause it thought it had it. Removing its memory, so to speak, forces it to re-learn everything again.
Hope I'm not jumping the gun here...

A few weeks ago, the rig manager was not pulling up all of the latest rigs for me. When I updated both the firmware and the rig manager software it was fixed.
-
Ahh... thank you, crhfish.
Guess I'll just have to miss out a little where being fully-up-to-date with the Exchange is concerned, 'cause as I said, I'm sitting on the FW version 'til v4.
The deletion of those files definitely prompted a database rebuild, so I'm glad I went through with that, but still nothing of yours appeared that was created after 2016-01-20.
I downloaded your latest Rigs directly from the RE, however, so all is well now in Jungleville!
Thank you again for the upload, mate.

I just had a chance to try these and they're definitely up there with any of the commercial profiles I have. Outstanding all the way.

I had to share this with you guys. I walk into a pawn shop yesterday and find this. A mint unplayed 1969 Telecaster. I will be playing quite a bit today I think. The serial number is not far from Jimi's Woodstock strat. This one is Feb 69.

You can't just post this without saying how much...Oh sorry I guess you could.
-
They had it priced like a regular American Tele, $1200. I don't think they knew how old it was.
-
Congrats @crhfish. What a great find.
-
How's the song go?
Some guys have all the luck!

I've got some decent guitars, quite a few in fact. This one really is different. It has the 1meg pots with treble bleed wiring which makes the bridge pickup sound as tangy as you can stand it. I have to use the tone control to calm it down. The bridge pickup is only 6 ohms but it puts out much more output than I expected and it sounds really good. The guitar had never been intonated. The three bridge saddles were all set in a line way to high to be even close. No fret wear at all.
And to think I almost bought a PRS SE Tremonte right before I found this one. If I had, I never would have stopped at this place.

Amazing, man. Just, wow.
-
man, you're really lucky I wish we had such pawn shops in europe ... That tele is maybe worth 10000$ in that condition
Any clips to share ?
cheers

WOW, what a jackpot!
Can't wait to try your new profiles. I'm sure some of them will be keepers. -
Congratulation.
Good luck is a like a bird -
Congrats! It is VERY unusual to find anything like this in a USA pawnshop without them knowing exactly what they have.
-
Wow, what a find @crhfish!
