I may be totally wrong here but the noise gate...not the stomp gate but the actual knob on the kpa...No matter what rig I switched to, the gate would default back to zero...was it always like this and I never noticed it?
-
Anyone else have the front input still come through after switching to spdif? Spdif still comes through but so does my guitar signal.
Edit: Kemper confirmed this is expected behavior. Must have been mistaken on prior firmware.

It doesn't change for me. At least not by changing rigs through RM or on the front panel. I don't have the remote controller.

Were your input settings locked before the update? If yes, check if they are still locked. If not, the Kemper is loading the input settings (together with the setting of the global noise gate) which are stored with the loaded rig. -
Exactly what I thought, Kempermaniac, but then I was afraid to ask this as it seemed so obvious...

After the update the Noise gate went to "0". I had to reset it. But it does not change from one rig to another after loading.

Well, I'd check whether they are locked now, since this definitely seems to be the case.

Fantastic update, personally my fave is the ability to assign the tap, looper and tuner switches to nearly anything. Just one thing I noticed doing this though. I switched my looper to engage stomp x and when it does the led that indicates looper function remains off. Might be a good call to assign the led to light up when engaging whatever you have it assigned to. Rather that just off all the time?
-
As far as the missing delays are concerned: I have LDLY when I turn the type knob, and all the presets such as "The Edge 1, 2, 3" etc. are there when I turn the browse knob.

Hmmm. Yes, the input settings are now locked. I didn't realize it.

I got an email back from support this morning. They did not seem to be understanding the reasoning for having morphing selectaable per slot.
I did reply with a fairly clear reason with scenerios on the need for morph on a selecive basis.
They are also looking into having to hold the preset button for a time to go into programming modeThey did acknowledge they are working, on my request and I'm sure others, of sending MIDI pcs within a morph

Support is aware of this and they are trying to have this fixed by the Public release. -

It seems the fresh installation defaulted to that X)

I upgraded yesterday. I really liked the new features and the expanded abilities of the Remote with this new firmware. But because of the troubles I have experienced with stompbox preset and types, I am thinking of downgrading and waiting for the alpha release.

The alpha is pre beta. What you mean is the final release. I don't want to bug you, I just want to avoid confusion.

Yes, right. @10w73. Thank you.
