That is super cool! A really unique build, I like the headstock design and the scratch plate in particular. Cool concept. How much does it weigh approximately?
Wow, thank you! It's just over 7.5lbs.

I love tele's and I love this one.
Thank you so much! I love Teles, too. I have a small collection of them but I'm playing this one all the time at the moment.

Brilliant! I'd attribute it to the wood you removed from the pickup cavity! Smart!

I must have removed a few lbs from the belly cut and forearm chamfer as well!
Ima sucker for rosewood necks. ¿How much is the telecaster fender roswood one? I always wanted one.

This one isn't a model ever produced by Fender. It started life as a Classic Player Thinline Deluxe, but I stripped it and refinished it in see-through blonde, added the Bigsby trem' and Callaham bridge, and had the pickups rewound by Catswhisker in the UK, to original Wide Range Humbucker specs.
Finally, I was lucky enough to get hold of a solid rosewood neck, which I had re-fretted with medium jumbo stainless frets.
The tuners are Kluson/Gotoh vintage-style locking items.
Sensational!
Dragon?
I gonna pass the hell out now.

I've only ever seen pics... but even that tease was enough! Killer axe!
ST how is intonation on those single stop bars?
Hi BayouTexan

I've never had an issue with the intonation with the PRS Stoptail. The guitar was set up perfectly when I got it, and it still is.

Yup, I've got 3 guitars with those (PRS SE ONE, Mira, and McCarty) and they are all super stable. Brilliantly simple, and simply brilliant.

Another enthusiastically positive vote. Mine is 20 years old and even though it's a bit diminished cosmetically, the setup is still perfect.
That looks amazing. Could we have a full pic please? I want to see the fretboard inlay!
Edit: oh wow, that is so cool! The guitar is probably worth almost every last one in my collection
Hi, nightlight.
Thanks for the link to the stunning Private Stock 35th Anniversary Dragon (prsguitars.com)

I took the guitar outside hoping the light would be good. My place is surrounded by tall trees so you can see those reflected in the head to toe shot. There was no way to avoid the reflections. As I said before - I've never been able to get a good picture of this guitar.
Thanks for asking.
That is a stunning Guitar, mate!
Picked it up yesterday.
Lefthand ESP LTD TE-202.
I was looking for a T-Style guitar to start modding. Originally i wanted guitar to put the new Fender Wide Range Humbucker into, because there are no lefthand models avalable with it on the bridge. I got a Telecaster Player last year that i wanted to mod it, but i really started to like the single coils so i decided to keep it and get another one.
This one, i found on a lefthand facebook group and it already was modded with 2 Seymour Duncans (SH-2 and SH-5, don't know which is which) and i really think they sound great right now. The only downside is: still no Wide Range for me...
The LTD guitar feels nice, it's in great condition and sounds really nice. The only downside: The "relic" paint looks pretty cheap when you are close to it, but that's something I can live with or change it. Oh and the control plate is upside down. Very unfamiliar, but the previous owner wanted it this way. I will turn it back to the original state definetly.
I'm happy!
P.S.: .11-.52 strings in standard tuning? crazy, never used them before!
