Pulled the trigger tonight and will be picking a Powered Toaster up tomorrow!
I will be picking it up on the way to practice.
I'll be running through a Mesa 4x12 8ohm cab.
Any pointers on the first run?
I play Guitar in an original Metal Band Nasty Disaster. "Think ManOwar meets Bad News lol"
Big Ed Hard Rock. And Bass in a "Classic" Metallica cover band.
Tomorrow can't come soon enough!
Kemper coming home tomorrow!

Welcome !
I've only been using the kpa for around two weeks and my mind continues to be blown daily.
As a fellow beginner the best advice I can give you is to not tweak much and try to find a profile that sounds good for your guitar/hands from the get go.
I would download the free packs from different commercial profilers and see which suits you most. Every author seems to have his "flavor" (mic techniques..) and for the most part once you find one profile that sounds great for you chances are other profiles from the same author will more or less also work out for youSince you are using powered I'd go with Merged/DI profiles with cab off.
Enjoy !!!

Welcome.
Tips::: set the output to master mono in menusUse the studio eq!! Or the other kemper eqs. Try leaving the cabs on and use the eqs that's what I have to do for most profiles. I'm using the powerrack with 4x12 cabs.
Turn it up loud!!!! But don't blow your ears up it just sounds and feels better at volume.
Congrats on a great purchase.
