Since yesterday, in Browse mode, all profiles give my guitar a strnage sound as if played through a slow attack compressor (or kind of reverse wah). I switched off all stomps and effects and it's on all outputs.
In perform mode, the effect vanishes. Is there any way to reset the KPA to factory settings? I loaded the latest OS-Version.

Have checked the noise gate? Maybe it is set too high
-
Good Idea. That's what I changed yesterday. The threshold was 0, I changed it to 3, and now it's better. Isn't there any way, to switch off all mods?
-
What do you mean exactly with "switch off all mods"?
-
I want only hear the profiled amp. No stomps, no effects etc.

the noisegate value indicates just the opposite: on 3 it is more active than on 0. -

Simply turn them all off. If you want them to stay off when changing rigs, you can lock this status. -

deactivate all stomps and fx.
lock the STOMPS and EFFECTS section.
make sure the Noisegate on the front panel is turned all the way down, your Distortion Sense is at 0 and your Clean Sense is set correctly, or simply at 0.give the manual a chance;)

I eventually got it. As Calaban said, the Noise Gate intensity was set too high. Sorry for my slight misunderstanding - confused the general noise gate with the noise gate effect.
DonPetersen: usually I RTFM in case of doubt, but it's a little bit overwhelming. Anyway, thanks for all of your help, problem solved. -
give the manual a chance;)
That sounds soo much nicer than "RTFM "
