+1 to effects preset browse by category.
One way it could work would be:
-Select an effect
-press Browse, and get ONLY the presets for the selected effectThis

Check this I had similar idea
4 quick buttons to jump throgh distortion choruses etc
HiLet's say I want to add "Vintage Chorus" to current clean type of profile. I press for example "A" in STOMPS section. Then I scroll using TYPE for "Vintage Chorus" effect. On the way to choruses I have many distortion stomp boxes, which I don't want to hear while scrolling.
Would it be possible to assign four buttons above LCD to some kinds of stomps available in Kemper? I could press CHOR just to jump Vintage Chorus omitting all distortions.

what if once you start browing, the page buttons jumped between effect types - or just switched which soft buttons relate to which effect types as in the above idea?

+1!!!!!!!
i think keeping it simple is the best idea:
-select stomp slot
-use Type knob to scroll the Dist, Mod, Pitch etc -
looks very nice !

Could you clarify?

great idea +1!

Well presets would be ordered first by effect type (like mod (not specific ones like air chorus or green scream)), then by name. So page would jump from effect type to effect type. Then you use the browse wheel to select the one you want

Couldn't we just use the "type" knob for, well, type selection, 'Bobster?
That way the up / down arrows or page buttons could be used to skip 10 or 20 presets at a time or whatever...
-
Yea sounds good to me. Really any of the suggestions would be an improvement
-
+1 on submenus! Just to avoid much wear on the fancy type and browse knobs
-
I agree - FX sub menus would be a great feature!

Nice idea that would bring a welcome change. One of those small tweaks that'd make work flow that bit sweeter...
