Can we please get some kind of Kemper Editor Software for your computer

+1
Was just thinking this as I was I was crouched down adjusting effects and eq on my Kemper.
-
Another thing that would be great would be just an application where you could hit a button which would set all amp and cab parameters to their default values (and possibly unload all stomps). I would have it open besides the rig manager
I looked for a program that could send a string of nrpn messages to a device, but no such luck apparently...
-
Considering all of the software companions available for the Virus synths, I don't think it's unreasonable at all to ask for the same from Kemper team.

Agreed with the OP. Coming from the 11Rack, I miss this, if anything to have a much bigger screen instead of having to scroll through some menu.
-
I would be willing to pitch in a little cash to have a kemper editor program!
It would make things so much faster. -

In three months I'll have had my Kemper for four years. No one can tell me I'm making some kind of frivolous,
unreasonable request when I say that, at the very least, the company should inform us whether or not an editor is in
development, and if so, when it will finally be available. -
Rig Manager was released. Performance handling was added.
That implies a trend to me.

I will also love and will be willing to pay for an editor.
The design of the KPA is good, but I still do not consider the KPA a fun device to use... You need to have it on your desk where it should probably not be so it easy to reach as you play guitar and then you have to do the tap dancing in between pushing button and turning knob. Honestly the KPA is a recording device, so it means I'm in front of my computer when using it. If I had an editor the KPA will be under my desk instead of cluttering it and I'm sure it will be much more fun to use.
I have a GR-55 and I have no idea how the hardware works, I have almost never touch it and I barely ever see the thing, but it works great and it is fun to use due to guntown editor.

There's a community one, use that until the Kemper team complete theirs.
It's really not something we should be paying for, it's industry standard.

Can we have an unofficial rule that we don't reply to posts about products that inspires the same kind of drama?

I have created an editor, which can control all KPA parameters via MIDI. The only thing which is not supported is effect control. There are too many parameters to control and I haven't found a way to get the current effect setiings for any slot. Because parameters are different for each effect, it's not possible to create a consistent control page for each slot/effect. If someone knows, how to get the current settings from the KPA via MIDI, please advise.
Added some screenshots. The program is written with Qt framework. Will run on Windows 7, Mac OS and iOS. Future plans for Android exist. -

While I don't have the information you need, I'm very interested in your editor.
