If you don't need to profile, do not profile
-
if I want profi certain sounds, I would like to know in which direction Them leads me, it is difficult to express it right but, some profiles must give us someone clue or you will be lost
-
I haven't profiled at all. To me it's something I've not found the urge to do, as there are people out there who really know how to profile and supply a product which to me is far superior than I could do and I just don't have the time to do a profile to there high standards. So if you want to profile go for it, but if you don't want to it doesn't matter either

There are so many choices of profiles around now that were done by really gifted people that my personal wish to do profiling myself has become smaller and smaller over the recent months.

Yep. I'd only do it for the pleasure of hearing the Profiler just sound like my favourite amp and cab

I profile, so I can learn to make/hear the sounds of my amps and to understand what the Kemper can do and what others do. I am still learning techniques, still prefer the commercial options. There is more to it than just sticking a mic in front of a amp. I can appreciate the value of what others offer and their experience.
Still, it is very neat to try making your own and refining the profiles and studio techniques.Cheers!

I profiled initially to get some of my amps before selling them. They were boutique amps and I didn't expect others to profile them soon.
After that, I started selling my profiling equipment as I collected free and purchased profiles.
Now, I don't know if I will again unless I'm really bored. I figure, when you've got 10,000+ profiles, it's time to start making music.
