wow $599 +7 % sales tax here =$640.93 + shipping ?
( almost 1/2 the price I gave for the KPA..)= pretty expensive pedal for me ,was really hoping for about $400-500 shipped .. -
? A new KPA runs you 2k...how's 600 half unless you got it used? Perhaps you have to wait for a used remote then a few months down the line...
If you compare other pro controllers you'll find that the KPA remote is actually a bit cheaper...Liquid, Axe-FX controller etc...

Price is fine for me. I'll be buying as soon as it's available to the waiting list.
Cheers,

This is soooo hot shit! I am really looking forward to this and should be one of the first of the waiting list.
I don't know if everyone noticed but one very cool thing is that the remote is powered from the KPA over the Ethernet cable no separate power supply! Clearly this is one very well designed and totally cool piece of engineering.
It is clear that they thought about the design of the remote's connection when building the original KPA since they decided to make the somewhat unusual decision to add a POE (Power Over Ethernet) type Ethernet port thus allowing the remote to be powered directly from the KPA via an Ethernet cable! Incredibly smart and forward thinking! Boy do I love my KPA and its German engineering pedigree.

I think that's a fair price and you know that it will always intergrate with the profiler. Very excited!!!!!

The Remote is evérything I hoped it would be.
My FCB goes for retirement. -

Mine too! Anyone want to buy an FCB with Uno4Kemper and the one cable mod?Cheers,

I'm really interested in knowing whether the looper can be activated using simple CC commands from a regular midi board. Doesn't appear to have in-built memory on the foot controller, so I'm guessing some of the extra space in the Kemper is being used for the purpose.
Also wondering whether the looper works on a start/stop footswitch basis or you have to hold down the button for looping. I prefer the former.

Asking myself the same question. The pedalboard looks stunning and surely works even better, but I really like my Gordius and I'd rather stick to it.
Also, 30 seconds stereo is ok, but the possibility of 1 minute mono would be - from the perspective of bedroom jammers such as yours truly - much, much better. -

SamI was thinking the same too, but I'm gonna keep my FCB as a backup as it's not worth selling

Love it, as a long long long time DL4 user looks like the KFC has adopted the format.
Looks like it's going to be bullett proof too, midi out as well

Was the size of the unit known already?
KPR + Mission pedal = 650€....will need to re-think the benefits over HD500 whether it is worth it..

Yep I think someone used a few early pictures and the size of the socket to make some ratio/measurement guesses. I can't remember what they were but they are in the original KFC thread that started when it was first in the development stage.

Check out the Rocktron Hex, that @michaelmellner linked to in another thread. Looks as sturdy as Mission's pedals, although it doesn't have the switch of the dedicated EP1-KP. On the other hand, it also functions as a conventional analogue volume pedal and is half the price

I guess there will be a lot of FCB+kemper chip on the aftermarket soon
I'm waiting for a good deal, I'm in France... -
500 Euro?? i'll stay with my gordius
-
UK price looks like £390 (Inc. VAT) at today's exchange rates.
Plus delivery cost?
I will also need a short ethernet cable.
Press release refers to Kemper website for more details, but I can't find anything there.
Exact dimensions would be very helpful.HD500 and FCB for sale.

Does anyone know, if i can switch the looper to 60s mono?
