I wonder if I should get one of these plus a Mission/Pigtronix Dual Expression Pedal ... sounds pretty interesting to have 2 expressions (optionally reverse polarity) on one pedal. Anyone tried this? I don't like the connectors on the side instead of top end though.

I sent it too. Exciting!
Christoph, are you going to confirm our emails? No reaction, sent it yesterday...
Best wishes for the holidays
Rob
CK said elsewhere that there will be no confirmation emails.
What a coincidence - I ordered a DVP3 today, too
Did anyone look at the Dunlop DVP1XL pedal as well? Seems to be the identical to the DVP3 but is a newer 2014 edition. I am thinking of buying that one instead of the DVP3.
The DVP1XL is a physically larger pedal than the DVP3. Otherwise, I think they are the same.
From the press release: "Big brother to the DVP3 Volume (X) for players who want a larger footprint"

Thanks for the info - I have been looking at them both trying to discern a difference and was unable. Even Amazon listed both units with identical dimensions but a greater shipping weight on the newer one - but Amazon often gets this type of data wrong. Based on your post I found the Manuals to each pedal and as you stated the XL is larger, about 1.5" longer, 3/4" wider, .5" taller, and about 1 lb heavier based on the specs from Dunlop.
I can think of arguments both ways on this - I have a large foot so the bigger one may be better for me and the heavier weight I think would be more solid on the floor - but then you have to pack and carry that so I just don't know. Going to have to think about it some more while awaiting the KFC (One of the first on the list) but am leaning towards the XL.
Here is the DVP3, compared to a Crybaby - same size, but the wide part of the pedal is the heel.

The DVP-3 footprint is big enough for me.
I can't imagine wanting bigger.
I'm getting this accessory so I can target where I'm tapping my toes:

Ha... I should have known better... Firefox just warned me that the connection to the Steampunk site is not trustable

How many cables are needed per DVP-3 pedal? Just one? Stereo?

Yes, one 1/4" TRS stereo cable.
I see a lot of talk about mission engineering expression pedals, are they the bees knees when It comes to expression pedals. I've not used many pedals the ones on my line 6 foot controller seemed quite good, and the ones on the FCB I'd say are ok but not great. So when this KFC is released I'll need to purchase to pro quality expression pedals and Mission are the ones yep?
I have the Mission pedal and do appreciate having that toe switch. I use it to trigger booster for solos. The pedal is fine. HOWEVER - the company's CEO is a complete jerk and I will never buy another Mission product!! I had a lengthy conversation with him after asking if they had a KPA devoted pedal with toe switch AND LED light to indicate when activated. His team told me they did, and to get... I can't recall the model number. It was NOT KPA compatible and useless. I sent it back. It cost me $40 shipping to and back again which, even though they misguided my purchase selection, they refused to swallow. I just can't deal with a shit-ass company and policy like that!!
Besides the toe-switch, there's no advantage of their pedals over the next biggest seller. Get the next!!

Bummer Gary, I do like companies with
good customer relations though to me it makes the product even better, and worth paying a little extra for if you know your going to get great support and customer care
