I agree with enhanced lows, more low mids for me but it adds body. I hear the highs effected, they sound compressed. My guess, multi band compression?

Some input from the Kemper folks would be nice ...

Why bother about something that has not yet been introduced or documented?
-
Since it's there, a bit of info wouldn't hurt. Until then, I'll ignore it.
-
Are you on 2.6 or 2.7?
-
I'm on 2.7
-
Larry, why ignore it if you like what it does?
-
Trying some profiles doesn't imply an exhaustive response tho
What cab(s) did you use for the test?
Test metod.
1.Pinknoise loaded in DAW
2. SPDIF in to Kemper / same like reamp metod./
3. Browsing through profiles.I have CHIMERA PACK.Sorry my late answer.

I'll fool with it some I guess, but it would be better to know what to expect, and why ...Since it hasn't been announced or documented yet, it may not be in the form of its final design. It may not only change before it is officially introduced - it may go away all together. It may not have ever been intended to be an end user feature, for that matter.
The above, of course, is all Pure (Cabinet) Speculation
-
LOL
This doesn't change the fact that, as long as it's there and you like what it does, you can safely do whatever you want
I must confess I couldn't say what and why each control on the Profiler does. HighShift "changes the hi-freq resonance of the cab", but pretty sure there are more people using that control than people able to write a wiki about how it works (included myself )

Wow what a difference, sounds like some of the profiles leveled up from Great "Profile" of Glory to Epic "Profile" of Awesomeness and a bit of Stereo Widening FX to get full body orgasm
Don't know what it does but it does it well. Can't wait for Mr Kemper and the team to officially release this feature . -
How are you using it, and how do you listen to your Profiler?

Main Out Stereo => old Event TR 6 Near Field Monitors
-
Do you set it to 10? I see no reason to use intermediate settings with the CLRs.

Yep, set it on 10, pretty much every high gain profile sounds improved.

There you go guys! next geneneration is coming...QuoteWe are currently preparing major innovations of the Profile format, which we are planning to release with firmware 3.0 officially. However these new features are already included – but hidden – in firmware 2.8.0. Technically Interested users are invited to check out these innovations and provide feedback before official release.
The main benefits of this new format are perfect separation between Amplifier and Cabinet Profiles, the ability to handle so-called "Direct Amp Profiles" (those created without a cabinet) in an accurate fashion, and the opportunity to merge such Direct Amp Profiles with cabinets either copied from any usual Studio Profile or with Cabinet Presets generated from impulse responses via CabMaker (v. 2.0).
Resulting so-called "Merged Profiles" behave authentically, regardless whether the cabinet simulation is switched on or off. Practically you could simultaneously use the Studio Profile for FOH and the Direct Amp Profile for your guitar speaker cabinet on stage.
Please find detailed information related to these new profiling features and links to experimantal firmware in the attached document:
dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/55…s and Merged Profiles.pdfCaution: Profiles created leveraging this new Profiling format are not downward compatible and may not be shared with un-informed users. Don’t offer these commercially before official release. The new Profiles could generate noise or other trouble if used with elder firmware revisions. Consequently Rig Exchange doesn’t accept their upload for the time being.

Do you guys think Pure Cabinet is a way to emulate the separation between amp and cabinet like in the new experimental profiling process? Something for older profiles, perhaps? Of course, if it all sounds better, it's a moot point anyway. Just curious to know what exactly this feature is.
