But gosh, you guys have been asking since 2014 for a different LFO shape on the trem? Seems like they could do this in their sleep.

i think it is a kind of a tremolo. I Remeber on my old Boss GT 10 it was a own effekt (i guess it was called slicer).
unfortunately i was not able to get the tone with the kemper tremolo... would be great to have this in the kemper portfolio

Try to put 2 tremolos in sequence, that should "Square" a bit the wave. (Btw: is more of a Stutter/Killswitch then a slicer, to my ears)

Yeah that works a bit. Be sure to copy/paste the settings from one instance to the other. You can't manually match the cycle because the reading has more precision than what is shown on screen.

I have created a program with two tremolo units. Unfortunately, the tremolos "phase", so that there is not only an amplification of the tremolo effect, but also an unwanted permanent phasing. Is there a stronger tremolo to download?

Unfortunately not. However, now that the are, delay, drive and Fuzz effect have all be completely overhauled my guess is that the modulation effects will be next. There really isn't much else to upgrade significantly so modulation seems like a no trainer but. We'll just need to wait and see.

Hard, 100% square wave tremolo. If added to the KPA and is done properly, you'll have made the first useful + effectively programmable tremolo on the market. One that follows and stays on the BPM, and doesn't stray while holding.

I’m not able to play certain songs with my band because the Kemper trem isn’t choppy enough.
In order to play those songs I’d have to bring an outboard Strymon Flint. I didn’t buy an all-in-one floor board to bring more pedals.
I know this is a low priority - but how in the world can this be taking so long?!
