It was said that the Kemper has a little shock sensor inside
LOL! I think that was a joke from an old Reverb request thread.

Yes KPA has built-in accelerometer. In Debug mode, you can see page which reflects sensor values. Sensor is MMA7660: http://www.freescale.com/webapp/sps/sit…?code=MMA7660FC
One of future uses, I guess, will be TAP detection.

Ha Ha! It would be pretty cool to hit the side and hear the 'springs' banging together though!

Or spring reverb hit response
In debug menu this is only in FW < 3.01 .
Let's shake the KPA:D

No joke here:)
+1 on this one (even though I will likely still seriously covet a real tube-driven unit like the Z Verb regardless...)
spring and octo reverb
i dont get the hype - to me spring reverb is the worst sounding of all

Its funny how we all like different things. Classic spring reverb is one of my favorites, and the Kemper REALLY needs it IMO
maybe it belongs to the amp...but all amps i did own with real spring reverbs..the reverb was like unusable to me but i love the digital reverbs in JVMs for example
I basically agree, but we seem to be in a minority
A nice rich & dense spring reverb - yes please!
In the late 60's I had this spring reverb unit (yes, I guess I'm that old, and I wish I could remember which one it was) that I would kick to start "Journey to the Center of Your Mind" by the Amboy Dukes. It was fun, noisy! BUT - I can easily live without it and really am quite content with what we already have. A better delay, a la Strymon Timeline, assignable to a separate, second FX slot is way more important in my world.
And yes, I know I and a few others above are in the minority on this subject. Oh well.

so are those pesky vacuum tubes

how can you claim to replace a fender amp if you can't even simulate its reverb when the reverb is a huge part of the fender sound?!?
I think i'm going to ditch mine and go back to the axefx.
I get your point simply not my cup of tea. but i love the reverb of my JVM410 much more.
Be patient..Kemper allready pointed out that its on the to do list!

it's been on the todo list for over 2 years. It's ridiculous that on a $2500 processor you have to use a pedal to get proper emulation of fender amps and even the $150 pedal sounds better than kemper reverb! I think i'm going to buy a used Axefx II and compare them for a couple months and then sell the one I like the least. At least the axe has world class effects. The effects on the kemper aren't in the same league as those on the axefx ii for the most part.
