Nice work, but sure doesn't sound like folk music to me!
Yeah, I hear the Blues but not the Folk....
Yeah, I hear the Blues but not the Folk....
Me too, "folk" was in the room next to this one? But liked it anyway!
If that is Folk I would like to hear your blues in 3/4....
Great one nevertheless
I like it - great job!
Blues has been around long enough to qualify as Folk Music, IMHO.
When Alan Lomax "discovered" it, it was considered to be like the other rural music he was recording.
Hey!
Obviously, I haven't said that that was a folk song... what I have said is that the recording was for a FOLK BAND. In the project we have recorded that blues song (in the video I'm playing over a MIDI guide, not the final arrangement), another one with gypsy jazz flavour, a waltz... but always from a folky point of view and always around the diatonic accordion, which is the instrument of the leader of the band.
Here you have another video from a concert to see how folky the band is XD. The audio is directly taken from the mixing desk, so the quality is not very good:

Great band! Now I get the concept.
Typical Kemper Forum Question: What profile did you use? Sounds great, even through Youtube
The sound is based in one of And44's Plexis, but I don't exactly remember which one was the starting point (is it any way to know which was the starting point for a user preset? I don't think so and I didn't write down).
The amp is a Plexi67 by And44, cabinet Fux by Peter Fischer (did I change the cabinet? I don't remember to do it...) and the mic is a Sennheiser 421. In the B slot I have a Pure Booster with the volume at +3.8 to boost the amp, a Graphic EQ in the X slot and a little bit of delay with modulation. In the amp's EQ the bass is -1.4, mids +2.1 and treble +0.8.
Sounds fantastic! Thanks for sharing!
Cheers,
Markus

ps: shouldn´t has been this uploaded in "link your music" section?
