Also, I would love to hear if anyone tried HOTONE Ampero, if it is "fully" customizable for KPP

Yes.

As far as I know, this is the midicaptain six step firmware version, and the new firmware will be released soon. There will be ten step firmware updates in the future
Assuming you are a user of this device, can you tell me if it is able to put out multiple CC commands with one button press, or NRPN data with one button press?
i understand it can send a variety of messages with one press, ie prog-chage, CC, note-on, but hoping it can do upto four CC commands on a single press.
thanks for any info

I don't see the information, but is it possible to link M-vave chocolate via a USB cable to Player ? I only see pictures via Wifi/Widi.....
Yes you connect via a usb c\ usb a cable , when connecting this way the chocolate is recharged by the kpp. To use it with BT you need to but the bt midi receiver which is made by two din connectors with integrated bt receiver and an usb a dongle bt receiver. You can use this receivers with others midi devices (I've used the din receiver with the ampero stomp). It works like a charm both ways (bt or usb )

Their website is slow to update, he's too busy.
This information you got (no quantity limit) is the answer I got from consulting him this morning

In the end I bought the Chocolate, taking advantage of a spring sale. I want it to try it.
Does anyone have a good guide on how to configure?
I would like to get
I and II -> Down
III and IV-> UpI, II and III (on/off effects)
IV tap tempo
Then Kemper to be over the cab, I only use me wave and pedal expression (in the future with tuner) -

I haven't tried long presses with Cubesuite and the Chocolate, but I see that "Rig next" (and previous) does not seem to be possible over MIDI. I have no idea why, but perhaps someone knows a workaround? I have already started looking at the MIDI Captain instead of this, since that one has a screen that actually can provide useful information and it supports NRPN.

Yes, in the future, I will like to buy Captain 4 or 6 button model

Check out the MX Midi Controllers. Comes in 6 different sizes (1x5, 2x3, 3x3, 3x4, 2x6, 3x18 buttons)
They can sync with the Kemper Profile Player and can show Rig Name, Stomp & FX On/Off state, Tuner Info,...

Picked this up today. Works flawlessly out the box (after installing the KPP specific firmware) and powered via the KPP USB port.

I am using Midi Baby 3. No regrets. The hit tone should work just fine

Is the screen of useable size? Can you see everything from a standing position?

I guess it depends on your eyesight. It's small and I'd say not really great from a standing position (certainly not to read the rig name) but definitely good to have the extra buttons. Out the box with the KPP Firmware it's configured for :
1 - short press: Selects the 1st preset in the current bank (every bank contains 5 presets)
1 - long press: Toggles the DLY module on/off
2 - short press: Selects the 2nd preset in the current bank
2 - long press: Toggles the REV module on/off
3 - short press: Selects the 3rd preset in the current bank
3 - long press: Switches to the next bank (there are 10 banks in total)
A - short press: Selects the 4th preset in the current bank
A - long press: Toggles the module in slot A on/off
B - short press: Selects the 5th preset in the current bank
B - long press: Toggles the module in slot B on/off
C - short press: Activates tapping
C - long press: Switches to the previous bankLeaving me to use the footswitch's (and additional external Kemper footswitch) for whatever I want to assign from the list available.
Also, I have mine connected via USB to USB midi but it also sends the PC over the standard DIN so I've had no issues just hooking up my H9 pedal via Midi DIN and the Programs switch with the slot changes on the Kemper
