I bought a Kemper Stage to replace my toaster. I'm keeping my toaster as a backup but would like to copy everything from my toaster over to the stage so that they are identical in every way (rigs, settings, output settings, morphing, pedals, etc.). If I do the simple USB backup process, does that copy EVERYTHING (including all settings, presets, etc.), or does that only copy things like rigs & performances?
How to move from one Kemper to another

it does copy everything out of the external pedal assignments (remote has 2, stage 4). Evtl. check the output settings afterwards (not sure about this one)

As Kellerblues wrote.
Be sure the two have the same KAOS version, that's not restored either.

How could I forget this one. Pippopluto is absolutely correct : make sure both units runs the latest FW before to backup snd restore

Awesome. Thank you both.

just to avoid confusion:
the toaster provides you with 2 pedals on the head plus 4 pedal jacks on the remote, each can hold one expression pedal, one mono switch or one dual switch.
