I love the player so far but am a little bit underwhelmed with the basic pitch shifting option. Anyone know if a future update will add the functionality to use it like as a harmonizer?
Will there be an update to the pitch shifter on the player?

Probably with the paid update maybe?

Nobody except the Kemper team has a clue and they are unlikely to say in advance.

any suggestion how to add a pitch shifter pedal? In front of the player is horrible of course. Can it be after the output? Not very satisfying at all

Why would placing it in front be horrible? A pitch shifter is usually best at the front of the chain, when the signal from the guitar is cleanest and tracking at its best. -
Really?? I always had it in an FX Loop. This sounded cleaner for me than in front. You'll never stop learning I guess. Will give it a try

It’s me again: I don’t get it. Placed it in front (before the player) and it
Just sounds horrible with distortion (like I said before). I can place it between player and mixer and that sounds good.

would be a great addition

Why would placing it in front be horrible? A pitch shifter is usually best at the front of the chain, not in my experience - for the typical 'two guitars playing in harmony' you want the distortion to happen first, and then the pitchshifting.
otherwise you're feeding an interval into distortion which is a very different sound.
