Anything new? If 10.0 is the goal... It took about 6 months to over 2 years to change from one main version to the next, in the past years. I hope it won't last that long.

I've been waiting since last November for my new tele. So, as long both are here for Xmas then it's a win. Good things are worth the wait.

...true.

There are some profile vendors like Michael Nielsen who has profiled some pretty rare preamps (moron, lagner etc). I hope they will include these tonestacks
Most of my profiles are from him. Great stuff.

I really know nothing about amp electric circuits but i imagine there are not thousands of possibilities, i mean, i imagine a tone stack and its behaviors can be find (and transpose) in different kind/brand of amplifiers ? The sound itself is made with many components that the profile already catches...
IMO, the hardest wil be to have a correspondance table for every amplifier....

His Vintage pack with the glorious 20watt Diaz and many others has 129 profiles and is a steal at 15 bucks.

The latest rig manager beta adds support to liquid profiling, very good!

His CAE3+ pack is my go to for leads and rhythm. I used his ADA mp1 pack for my cleans.

I have ALL of his profiles. I mainly use ada mp1, cae3, huff pack, soldano slo 100, soldano x88 and the friedmans. GREAT stuff.

soldano x88r RATT is my goto distortion sound. I would assume by the name that it was profiled using a ratt drive in the profile. Its free and its kickass.

Can't find any release notes where it says liquid profiling, do you have a link?

It’s not in the notes. I’ve only seen it on the splash screen when RM updates.

Maybe this indicates that Liquid Profiles aren't so far off from being released?

It has been stated that LP will be released on OS 10. So, we have to go thru 9.1, 9.2. 9.3 etc. While the info screen indicates "support" for LP that doesn't mean implementation or that LP is actually installed. But my fingers are crossed it will be here for Xmas.

Nothing says they can't jump an entire number. After MacOS 10.15 (aka Catalina), they jumped to MacOS 11, 12 and now 13. Microsoft jumped from 8.1 to 10.
Didn't they jump a version number when the updated 'verbs and delays were released?
I would think that a foundational change like this warrants its own number.
-
It took more than ten years to enable USB-Audio- with the same hardware.
I hope that liquid profiling is not so complicated. -
We are all so excited, we are talking circles.

When the KPA delays were revamped, we got two successive new OS editions in a fairly short space of time - OS 4 and 5 from memory. The first bunch of delays were in the betas for the first new OS version and the complete set became available in the second full OS X.00 version which came something like six months later.
