Hi all! I Just tried to update to the latest OS via the profiler software. I'm running W10 on my PC. I've got 1000 profiles in my Kemper Toaster. Is that the reason the update failed? I got a message on my computer monitor saying the update failed. My Kemper stalled, green screen. Turned off the Kemper and switched it on again. Thank God it booted up to the old OS. This is the second time this happened to me recently.

Same. Failed around 55% during transferring update from PC.
KEMPER PROFILER OS 8.7.17.43373 Release.
Kemper Head stayed green with the "Kemper Profiler" logo.
I turned it off with the chicken head knob, it took about 5-10 seconds to turn off.
Later booted into the old firmware 8.7.10.38833

Updating direct is definately more hit and miss. USB is the most reliable, and its never failed me..

I've seen update failures occasionally with a USB cable to my Win10 PC. Every time I'd power off the Kemper, pull the power cord and USB from the back, wait a minute, reconnect both cables and finally start it back up and apply the update from Rig Manager.

It has for me in the past. Now I only update thru RM and it has failed a few times but worked second time updating.

I removed the power- and USB cable for a minute, then reconnected them, then powered up the Kemper. Started up Rig manager. Closed down all other apps on the PC. Update succeeded! Thanks guys!
