Simple question, if I import a Rig into any one of the five slots in Performance mode, and then delete that same Rig in the Browse mode, does the Rig still remain in the Performance mode? I could test this myself but I figured I would ask first. Thanks
Browse vs Performance

It will stay. Rigs are copied to performances.
-
rigs that are loaded from the browse pool into a performance are physical copies. You can delete them from the browse pool afterward and the copy will still remain in the performance.
-
I can totally confirm this as I deleted nearly all of my Rigs on my profiler ( circa 300) but all performances stayed in tact.
Suffice to say I took a backup prior to this just in case

That's a bold move...and exactly what I am planning to do. I want to start all over again.

Yeah its not that I didn't trust support or other forum members, but a backup is easy to do and is the ultimate safeguard - I have all of my performances backed up on my laptop as well....just to be sure
I was still sweating!

I love that they are copied. My browser holds the "originals" that are only tweaked for consistent volume with my other profiles. That way I can drop them into a performance with minimal adjusting. Performance mode holds edited versions. That way if I want to compare, I have a "stock" copy in performance mode.

I went down to about 60 now that I realize I could probably get by with 6! With 6 profiles I could do what I could not with my multi channel, multi master ENGL and a MultiFX.

I agree, less is better. I have over 300 profiles at this point, its not necessary.

Does the Kemper boot up faster?

Does the Kemper boot up faster?
I don't think so, but if it does it's not by much. I never had more than about 130 on mine though. Kemper is amazing how small the data size is for profiles. I usually switch mine on and by the time I grab my guitar, plug it in and take a drink, it's on.

I haven't noticed any difference.
For the first time in a gig I had a crash 2 weeks ago ( it was related to a dodgy connection I have with my remote) so I had to reboot mid gig. Seemed like hours! Suffice to say im looking to sort my ethernet connector into my KPA

Mine has only crashed once, also because the controller wasn't plugged in properly.

That's the way I feel stringing songs together when the drummer needs a drink.
