I can't seem to change the tempo on my Stage either by the tap tempo button or in the rig menu. When I turn the knob in the rig menu, the tempo number changes briefly, but returns to the tempo that it started with. Tempo lock is not selected and tempo enable is selected. Holding the tap tempo button shows the beat scanner, but it doesn't seem to do anything to alter the tempo.
Is there a global place to lock the tempo I am missing?

Do you have the Effects Tempo set to a Note value? If not, Tap Tempo does not have an available value to change.
Yes, I have note values for the delay. Funny after I reboot my Stage the tap tempo started working again.

Hmm, that is possible. My Stage is connected via midi. I will disconnect midi next time and see if that clears it up when it happens again. Thanks!
If the PROFILER is receiving MIDI clock, this is obviously immediately overwriting your tapping.
