If it won't have MIDI program and control functions It will be little use to me. i can live with out a looper but I have a GR55 at a minimum to control as well. for stage I would also prefer to be able to program a name other then just a rig name ( song name etc)

We'll have to see how its implemented. On the Digitech GSP1101, the footswtch was "dumb", all the mdi programming was done in the GSP1101. If you wanted to control other units, you sent the MIDI out of the GSP to the MIDI in of the target unit rather than directly from the foot switch. Perhaps that's what perform mode will be, integration with the foot switch as well as more advanced mapping of MIDI messages out of the device...

Exactly. Not enough was disclosed of the KFC yet to have prejudice at this stage...
I'm absolutely sure it will be a very smart controller. -
In February an upgrade of the Liquid Foot 12+ will be published.
If the KPA-Controller does not appear until then I think I'm going to buy the LF+ 12+
my last hope is NAMM 2013... -

Yes, you are right. I ordered the new LF 12+. Shipping begins in 2-3 weeks. -
Yes, you are right. I ordered the new LF 12+. Shipping begins in 2-3 weeks.the only disadvantage of the LF12+ is, that it can't be powered from the KPA...

I believe it also can't sync with the KPA, doesn't tune and doesn't show the KPA's presets names unless you write them in manually?

You´re right. -
Well, I can easily see how many people like the idea of a dedicated device.
I also see how others may feel at ease with different solutions tho.
As for me, I enlist among the former ones -
Sure? thread
Great thanks but - as you've said > "don't try this at home".
Is that Mod commercially available without the need of shipping the KPA??I believe it also can't sync with the KPA, doesn't tune and doesn't show the KPA's presets names unless you write them in manually?
there is a software for the LF12+ - a little bit of typing and it's it!

I guess this is referred to the presets' names?

No, sorry. But maybe I should do a tutorial?
that would be great! it would be even better in German
But is this realizable for a technical layman? -
It is easy to do if you are able to solder. I think I write you a pm in german.
Edit: Can't send it to you. Take a look at your profile.

SMALLER

If I may I would also like to highlight one more thing. Please pay attention to the distance between the switching buttons. For my opinion it is better if distance between them is wider so you don't have to be very careful hitting on them - on some controllers you can hit two buttons at once and this is really annoying. I also prefer smaller buttons (which currently seems great on pictures) and dislike "soft touch" buttons.
