Use some self-adhesive automotive wheel balancing weights from Amazon to counter neck dives --when a wide leather strap with felt backing is not enough. Weights in cavity can also work like a "faraday cage". Works perfect!

Good típ. Thanks.
Wow. What happens when that thing hits 88 mph?
My vote would be to trade it for something balanced.

None of them were balance and I wanted the guitar. I opted for a light one knowing I would have to add weights. My target for all guitars is 8lbs. This one weighed in at 8lbs-2oz with the correction.

Stick a weight on your leg and run as fast as you can. I bet it won't fall off. Make sure you have a sharp knife to cut it off.
Or add the weights to the tail end of the strap?

Are you talking about a Ted Nugent coyote tail?
I choose straps that do not slide. Something with rough material, like suede or roughed up leather that feels like suede. On a couple staps that I've not replaced yet, I put some self adhesive non-slide material rubber strips. I do prefer the suede, though.
I use a wide leather strap on my Les Paul Custom.

A 3" wide leather strap was not enough.
