Curious to see what everyone’s experience has been with the power amp. Has anyone had any failures or issues with the power amp itself? My Power rack pushes a 4x12 cab at about -14db and just curious of how much life these power amps may have.

No bad experiences noted really, but “possibly” related <???>

You can find technical details at the ICEpower website about the power amp in the Kemper.

The ICE series amps Kemper use are Class D, so run at low temps, and *should* last a long time...
That said, capacitors fail over time, and other components, and solder joins fail or break down over time.

Would you mind providing a link, I’d love to read about them?

I was there looking for information about the one in the kemper but couldn't find anything that pointed out anything about the kemper.

Look at the 250a series amps.

Been using mine for about 6 years, much of which has been with a 4 x12 no issues. Obviously sometimes things break etc but so far way more reliable than a valve amp ( as you would expect).

The Bang Olufsen ICEpower amps are well designed and use quality electrolytics, (Nichicons, etc.) not the less expensive caps used in various Chinese Class D amps. (SURE, Behringer(some), to name a few) I have had no problems with any of the ICE Power units also found in some of the MAudio Monitors.
