looks like there is a small groove where the ribbing goes. I don’t think it’s a seam in the tolex.
Thanks for the info on the corners

You're welcome. Yes, it sure does look like it was routed out for the brown ribbing

Regarding front loading vs rear loading speakers in cabs, I am no expert, but have done this experiment with every cab i've owned and have personally observed:
1) a great sounding guitar cab sounds best with speakers rear loaded. The cab imparts more of its character to the sound.
2) front loading speakers results in less cab color, more true speaker tone
As such, I've front loaded my FRFR 2x12 cab for this reason and would suspect this will achieve a less colored speaker response. FWIW.

I searched online. Still haven’t found any corners like on Kabinet
I tried placing an order for piping from Tube Town. But it wouldn’t let me put in shipping infoUGH

General opinion question regarding amps for the Kone/Kabinet. Is it good that most of the solutions presented in this thread have pre-amps rather than just a volume? Is it helpful/desired, or just one more unnecessary point of adjustment? (powerstage170, BAM200, ISP Stealth, Palmer Macht, Harley Benton, Hotone, Fryette, etc...)
What would the hands down, nothing left to wish for amp for the Kabinet look like?
Yes, I'm asking because I'm considering piecing together something that fits the bill using the newer ICEpower module (200ASC). -
I have a 200 asc and plan on trying it this weekend with the Kab Klone I’m building.

I still like the idea of a replacement back for the Kab... i.e., pop off the existing back, connect speaker wires to a 200ACS embedded retro fit back and pop it back on. In my case it would be the ideal solution... I'm not sure how many others agree though.

Did you cover your build out of it anywhere? So far the nicest ready made cases I've found are by ghent audio.
I guess ShadowJumper - you're looking for a plate amp solution, which would keep things small/neat.

The enclosure will always colour the sound to a degree. Internal dimensions, cabinet materials, damping and size always play a part in the final sound out of the box. Eddie Van Halen will even tell you that the grille material will make a difference!
There are powered solutions where you could swap the speaker out, but I think that is a bit tricky, as most are two-way and you’d have crossovers and impedance mismatches to contend with. I’d go with external. I can recommend the TC Electronic Bam200 as an entry level, cheap solution that works great. Doubles as a half-decent bass amp, too.
I have a new power stage too. I am looking for a Yamaha dxr10 second hand the other option is build 1x12 cab with kemper kone and buy a stomp amp like tc electronic or seymour duncan powerstage 170...Which is the best option ?

Tilman from Ritter has just released a new power amp to fit a pedalboard. I can tell you first hand that it'll be excellent.

Thanks for your suggestion, maybe a power amp + 1x12 kemper kone or 2x12 is the best solution in May 2020...Many people seems satisfied using dxr10 but it sound like an obsolete solution right now...

It's nice to be able to choose FR or guitar speaker depending on your mood, and the Kone gives you that option.
