I love it and consider it the best of both worlds. The Power Station is a transparent amplifier but since its running through tubes it adds some glassiness and chime which is of a different quality than that produced by solid state amps. IMHO its the perfect combination.
Thanks for the answer...I m a little bit short with the money at the moment so I'm taking Seymour Duncan Power Stage 170 With Kemper Kabinet... Have you perhaps any experience with Seymour Duncan Power Stage 170 or maybe how does it compares with Frayette S2....Is it big difference in sound and feel?
I've never tried a Power Stage, but plan on plugging in my EXH 44 Magnum later today to see how that compares to the Power Station. Seems there are a lot of amping options out there and perhaps a clear winner will be announced in the days to come, at which point I might make a change... but for now the Power Station is the clear winner for me.
