Hello,
Has anyone used the Harmonic Pitch to replicate the two guitar harmony in the boys are back in town? I have been trying to get it right and cannot seem to find the right increments to use.
Thanks

It's been asked here: harmonizer setting for boys are back in town ?
Thank you!
How about the location of the harmonizer in your rig? I have tried it just about everywhere and it doesn't sound very good - a bit shrill. I have it post amp now with a simple drive ahead of in stomp position. Thoughts?
I always stick it in the first Stomp slot but go with wherever sounds best to you.
You might want to check out the Formant Shift feature.
Here is a demo of the Formant shift:

Hm yeah. I've always thought that you had to put it after any distortion for that twin lead sound. Otherwise it would blend together as chords.
I've tried both and they both sound good but ,as you suggest different. I always go first because I think it tracks better but that might just be my own confirmation bias tricking me.
Probably tracks better yeah. I'll have to test but I suspect a fifth sounds more like a power chord when set before distortion and more like a harmony if set after.
Perhaps interesting to look into separating the detector algorithm from the actual effect. Oh well that's just speculation. Will test later.
Thanks everyone - for some very well know harmony parts (i.e., Boston - Piece of Mind, 38 special Burning for you, etc) I found after much fiddling that post amp, with an add'l boost just before it works great. I would not have guessed that configuration honestly, but it sings like the recording!
