Windows or MAC?
On windows 10.
Got problems too. Still can't create new performances or change profile by loading a new one. Contacted support.
Yep, multiple issues here. Doesn't seem to have actually fixed anything...

While there are still annoying bugs, I also noticed that some bugs are fixed (at least under Windows). For instance, saving with RigManager now is working.
Just found another annyoing with 7.1.9. After pressing the Save button on a new profile I made with my amp, I could not find it anymore in Profiler Stage nor in RigManager. Although, I am not sure if I myself made a mistake in this process. Will try on another time.
CORRECTION:
In fact, the profiled amp was stored. But it was stored with the referenced amp, so I at first could not find the profile. This is a thing you can easily stumble into.
And a new strange thing happened today. I am in Browse mode and press the Shutdown Button, some seconds or even until the progress ruler comes to end. Stage will not shutdown! Then, I just pressed the Perform button, and then, voilà, it shortly shows the last performance rig and then it immediately shuts down. (RigManager is running).
I gave it another try, closeing RigManager first, restartet the Stage and tried Shutdown button. Same behaviour as above.
Well, the point is: I installed the new OS software some days ago, and Shutdown worked until today...
CarloLf Today I experienced the same problem as you.
Now we have a new Beta version of the OS (7.1.11) and RigManager(3.0.88), which is fine.
Bad policy to open a new public Beta version and just saying this in the changelog:
"RigManager: - Various Fixes
OS Beta: - Optimisations for Rig Manager 3"
How should we know which errors are considered fixed so we can test if it now really works?
I can get my KPA to recognise 7.1.11. I updated to 7.1.10 last night via USB stick but the latest update doesn't trigger the KPA to load an OS it just gives my the USB Stick options for Backup etc.

Same happened to me. However it had booted with the USB plugged in. Unplugging and plugging back in triggered the update message.
Thanks.
I’ve tried booting etc too. I’ll try again later.

Yes, this also was the way it worked for me. Before, at boot time, nothing happened.
No joy here. Tried rebooting haslf a dozen times in every combination I could think of. Turn off with USB inserted, turn back on with USB removed etc etc etc.

Try to boot with or without USB Stick. Then press USB-Softkey. When I did this, it came with the backup/restore dialog. I canceled - and the it suddenly detected the new OS version and installed it. Be aware, at least under Windows, the "kaos.bin" should be in subdirectory "OS Update".
I had the same issue. Tried on/off, reformatting the USB stick. Nothing. So I reloaded the usb stick but sent Kaos. file individually to the stick instead of all of it like normal, and it loaded up great.
Thanks Carlo. I have been through the USB stick then exit a few times already but to no avail. I'm going to try a completely new download from the website and try again.
That didn't work either.
However, I followed Roadrunner's advice and extracted the KAOS.bin from the zip file and copied only that the USB. It worked OK after that which is strange as lastnight updated to 7.1.10 straight from the zip file. He Ho, It's working now
and extracted the KAOS.bin
of course, the Profile expects kaos.bin, not the downloaded package.
but it has run in the past with the download package.
normally I just i stall via RM. this week is the first time I have had touse a USB stick for a while though.

there never was a way to upgrade straight from a zip file. you must have been dreaming
