With my Kemper turned on is it safe for me to unplug one guitar and plug in another guitar? Is there any chance that hot swapping guitars could damage my Kemper?
Can hot swapping guitars damage my Kemper?

You can safely hot swap guitars.

Thanks!

i heard it‘s not good for the tubes

... I was almost certain that it was safe to hot swap but I wanted to double check since Kemper amps are not cheap to buy. Although I will say that after owning my Kemper for about a month now, it is worth far more than it costs.

I recommend those cables that have the silent plug end. It doesn’t engage until the plug is fully in the guitar. I will never go back since I discovered them. They are a bit expensive but easily worth it.

If you think about what costs you can avoid by using them....

But to come back to the question: It´s a good question and I don´t have the answer. I always thought about not to blow the speaker when plugging in and out. But the amplifier itself....never thought about it.

You can hot swap ‘til your heart’s content. You won’t damage the input.

The Kemper will be fine and you can always turn the chicken head to tuner if you want to avoid the speaker popping.

I have always muted everything (in all my live rigs; tube or otherwise) by turning on the tuner during a guitar change. I know I'm going to check the tuning of the new guitar anyway.
-
I watched a sound-man slap a guy to sleep for doing that. Be Safe.

I will find a solution to split my signal in two before the Kemper and plug 2 guitars and just pick one without bothering about flipping the chicken head to tuner. Two in / one out adaptor

Yes you can but its not great for listeners/other band members/sound men as the lead buzzes and pops.
Using the remote ( which I'm sure you have as you are playing live ) click to tuner, change, back in...

Yep! Hit tuner, or mute volume on footpedal if you have one?
