I'm assuming you run the Matrix-212 cab with cab emulation off? It'll need turning on for the FRFR cab.

Assuming you are using the 2 cable method to connect your expression, in the system menu, where you set up the expression pedal, where you have set the switch to on/off for the wah pedal (must be in a stomp effects position) there is a soft button along the top of the screen marked 'calibrate'. try holding this button down whilst pressing the on/off switch. I had the same issue after a global settings reset, and this was the suggested cure by the Kemper team to me that worked!

Yep! the only reason you can do it with a kemper... or lots of linkages!

One thing I tried, just 'because I could' was to position 2 wahs, 1st & 2nd position, and activate them both using the effects on/off switches in a performance. This gives a much more pronounced wah effect! Probably only something you can do in the Kemper, and may not be the effect you're looking for, but interesting to try out!

Burkhard I held off to try the latest release 12.010, but I'm still getting the same issue (re-install 12.04 to solve the problem) I've created a backup this time and emailled Kemper direct, could you instruct me how to open a support ticket?

Anyone else experience this? After upgrading to the latest software, the sound is terrible! I thought at first that my poweramp was failing! Reverting back to 12.04 solved this (luckily I still had that update) but I've tried several times to upgrade but get the same result! Someone on a forum suggested it may be caused by a legacy reverb, but if that is the case, I'm surprised it hasn't been flagged (surely most profiles would have some sort of reverb?) Just highlighting this for the Kemper team Burkhard  GString in case the issue hasn't cropped up & hopefully can be resolved in a later update?

V8guitar How do you use the Amped 3 as a fly rig? Amp for the Kemper or as a standalone? I've thought about getting one of these, but the lack of effects has put me off! Thought about the Amped 2, but the lack of programmable patches put me off that too! Need the "Amped 4", a mix of them both!

Further upgrades are awesome, and as some have pointed out, will probably not use them, but the fact that CK is still invested in the hardware is very reassuring! Can someone count up the number of Fractal iterations there are out there currently that you can purchase?

Thinking about a B rig, or a fly rig, specifically the Atomic Amplifire 3, specifically for its form factor, coupled with a foot pedal poweramp, purely as a safety backup for the main Kemper rig. I know its been done to death, but has anyone actual experience using this specific device? I'd be looking to assign the 3 footswitches as per "slots in performance mode", mainly Clean, Distorted, Lead Boost, and not as effect ON/OFF. Is this possible?

Thanks for the reply Burkhard. I noticed a change in the sound of the Kemper, so I did a re-install from the last backup, and got this error messge. As I say, I managed to resolve the issue by doing a factory reset, and re-install, but I'm just concerned that I may have a software error that may cause issues with the unit going forward!

ckemper  burkard  GString Guys, I recently noticed a sound issue with my Kemper, and to try & remedy this, I thought I'd do a re-install from my USB stick from my latest backup (25/5 this year). Having done this, the Kemper booted, but into the attached error screen. I managed to get round this by doing a factory reset, and re-install, and everything seems to be working fine. My question is: From the error code window attached, is there a fault with my Kemper that is going to keep re-occurring, or have I cured the problem?

I was creating some morphed settings in the Rig Manager last night, and when adjusting morphed settings, I had to "unmorph" and 'remorph' from the remote to hear the changes made! For info, I don't use a pedal to morph, I use the time function morph on the remote buttons. Anyone else?

Ha! Looks like I'm gonna have to update my Ipad too, its older than my Kemper!

He does use a toy raygun. He has them as a really cool motif on his signature amp heads!

I'm really hoping Kemper2 comes in the form of a user-replaceable board/upgrade for the current form! Wishful thinking I know, but I won't be selling Kemper1 for a Kemper2. Malibu Stacey with a new hat anyone?

You'll need a poweramp of some description. In this instance, your Kemper is effectively acting as your preamp. There's models out there to suit all budgets!
