Marshall 100 W JMP direct profile.
Well, I would like your input, especially you guys that have the powered Kempers… this is a direct profile.
I EQ’d with greenback 4x12 cabinet so if you are using vintage 30s or other speakers, you’re on your own… Or, if you are adding a cabinet to it, you are on your own…

This, in my opinion, is more of a hard rock profile and definitely not a death metal type of tone…
Let me know what you think guys!
(Ps/// I forgot to move the volume in the amp section back to zero, I had to add 2 DB to compare sound with a bunch of other DI profiles I did with the same amplifier… )

Sounds awesome

Good job, Frank… Your reverbs sound especially good! Did you use the morph? Bumps gain up another 1.5 I think .. which is what the gain in original profile was actually…
I did it that way because sometimes it sounds better to back gain down then to keep bumping it up…
So, the original profile was done at the gain level of the morph…Hope that makes sense… -

very nice Spike!
Super pure Organic

HI mate,
Could you share your setting please
cheersSome tweaks on it. I think it's better to send the tweaked profile to bro Keith and can place it in his dropbox, if it works for Keith. Waiting for a response from Keith, after that I will send the profile to Keith this evening.
It's 7 am here and i have to go to work. -

have sent the van Halen profile via mail. If you like put it in your dropbox, so the guys can download it here. It's named
KW Eltzejupp EVH
The added cab is a free cab from LArs Lüttge (1960AV). One of my all time fav cab's.Cheers

Keith,
To share it, put it in the Dropbox “Shared” folder, and share that file link.
If it gives you problems, send it to me, and I will share it for you.

It works guys.
Let me hear what you think.

I’m going to try it later tonight, if our gig gets rained out. A quick question for both of you who made clips - did you have your guitar wide open?

Jepp. And I used morph..
-
Hey Paul,
I just noticed you were talking about the clip, but the profile was done with an EVH USA Wolfgang with the USA Wolfgang bridge pick up… -
I’m on break at the moment, but, I’ve used the rig on several songs tonight - from with just Delay, up to “kitchen sink” FX. The profile, the Cab, the Morph and the FX work really well together.
Great job, both of you!
-
Sounds great through my V30 loaded cabs!
