Well spotted!!, that makes the Timmy/Analogman King of Tone in the top 5!!

Also Boss Blues driver and Blues driver are the same thing.
Boss BD-2 is also Blues driver, so that makes it 5 votes.

It would be to put the Metal DS followed by the The MEtal equalizer both in the Pre Stack position and you end up with Metal Zone
any starter settings?
Strymon Sunset
I like the way you think.
Everyone knows you must scoop mids to 0% and Gain 100% if you want to Metal Zone
I haven't used the Metal Zone since I bought the Kemper but I just looked at it now and it seems to have been updated if I remember correctly. Now the EQ is already in the Metal DS so you don't even need to use the Metal EQ to get the Metal ZONE sound. However the Metal EQ is available to use with other effects without having to USE the Metal ZOne itself.
The most unique thing about it is that the EQ included a mid frequency Knob that changes the character of the distortion dramatically as you sweep it either way depending on whether you choose to have a cut "Mid Scoop" or boost. I personally hate the mid-scooped sounds (except for cleans sometimes) so I boost about 1 to 3db and then sweep the frequency to get a to a flavor that I like.
this makes more sense, although i wasn't at all stunned at the idea of using the Metal EQ AFTER the Metal zone. There are tones of weird tricks for all pieces of gear I feel and the Kemper is no exception but it seems more ,"logarithmic" for lack of a better word, or .maybe linear would better. I guess there's little back and forth , well idk nevermind . I'm getting over a nasty stomach bug some I'm still a little out of it. I'm gonna try to use the Metal EQ with the fuzz face and see what happens, also maybe it might get some good results with an HM2 OR in place of the studio eq
I hope someone is tracking these " stats " My votes are for
Zen drive

It's inbelievable that no one mentiones the Okko Diablo [...] with that exceptionally dynamic response, very effective and musical controls.
+1 for the okko diablo

How many guitarists does it take to choose an OD pedal? 1,000,000 and 999,999 to say why a Klon/Keeley Modded TS/etc/etc/etc whould have been WAYYY better dude

You are right, i was probably a bit naive creating this topic.
I now think a generic OD stomp allowing you to recreate every existing OD (with included presets of popular ones !), would probably be better.
I think/hope this is currently being developed behind the scene.
